Before the next game began, IdrA asked NonY: did he feel guilty about playing like that on Andromeda? NonY merely expressed his love of the map, and next game was on! *sigh*

While 12 nexus may be difficult to counter, you don't see Jaedong or Flash saying that their opponents "abused" x, y, or z to win. They don't make excuses, all is fair within the rules of the game, and whether or not the best player won, they don't bitch about it. It just doesn't make any sense to me why Idra always comes off as someone with a bad attitude, if he expects to make it as a pro he should consider his image (and keep the comments private, whether they are serious or not). It would increase the respect he gets from the community and other players.

It would increase the respect he gets from the community and other players. It was also kinda a light-hearted comment on my part as inherently terran players hate 12 nexus. But in honesty, if someone goes 12 nexus versus you and you didn't 8 rax, and you both play at the same level till the game is over -- the terran will lose. So when you are analyzing a loss, it's hard to give much credit if you feel you played better but they simply had the better build and rode out their eco advantage. It's not like Idra called Nony a bad player (nony is really good and he acknowledges that). I would rather have a progamer be honest about how he felt, than give some sugar coated answers. What's the point of even asking someone about their thoughts if you get mad if they tell you how they feel?

What's the point of even asking someone about their thoughts if you get mad if they tell you how they feel? Its just a matter of wording things in a way that doesn't make you come off like a poor-sport. This is how I would have answered the questions: IdrA[Media]: Pretty good, I expected to win but he was playing pretty abusive strategies so I got a little nervous a few times throughout the series. Pretty good, I was confident going into these games, but Nony was doing everything he could to gain an advantage in this matchup, and definitely made me nervous a few times during the series. IdrA[Media]: Second game he chose to take a freewin by going double nexus on andro. Got diagonal positions to make it even sillier. I timing pushed and killed his expo and a bunch of probes and won every battle, but then he made some units that kill everything and I lost. Critical moment there was him building his nexus. Very well done by him. The second game was very challenging for me due to the map and cross position spawns. This allowed Nony to safely 12 nexus, giving him an early advantage. My timing push was effective, and I felt that I was playing very well, winning most of the battles; however, I lost the bulk of my force due to a strong break and effective psi storms, and could not recover. IdrA[Media]: I expected him to play really abusive econ builds, the way he did on outsider and andro. I think cheesy allins would have given him a better chance but thats never really been his style so while I was aware of them I didn't really think he'd use them. I expected him to take advantage of the map layout and use strong economic builds the way he did on outside and ando. I think some more risky all in attacks could have succeeded against me, but knowing his style I did not anticipate him doing so. See... its not very hard to make yourself not sound like a whiner. (Even if he was trying to be funny, I'm really not a fan of his attitude).

If he ever makes proleague and gets an interview, I would tend to agree with you on that one. There is a balance to achieve in being professional but also being candid. But, really this isn't a professional event, and unless his team finds a problem in it, I wouldn't make a big deal about it.
