Sorry, Bisu vs Jaedong wasn't boring nor it was JD wanting to go home asap.
Just look at his face while that game.
He was MAD at what happened that was fucking obvious to see.
Bisu just played brilliantly, Jaedong thought Bisu would probably go Reaver / Sair again.
Also I don't think anyone of you has noticed but Bisu has edited his build+timings slightly, I won't spoil the "key point" cause I'm happy if nobody else except me gets it - thanks for that.
Jaedong just had NEVER played this timing before I'm quite certain of that and therefor was pretty much not accordingly prepared.
But yea, a game is always bad if someone gets raped - right?
Too bad that Bisu vs Jaedong ALWAYS is one of both raping the other.

Really I wouldn't have cared if it was like "Bisu vs Jaedong was not an epic game but was clearly dominated by Bisu" - or even stating the fact that Bisu has probably prepared more for this game would be fine - but something as biased as "Bisu played like Bisu and Jaedong played like he wanted to go home" - uhm yea who are you to know?

Timings changed, Bisu prepared, whatever the excuse is, Jaedong played sloppy and by played like he wanted to go home I didn't mean he actually wanted to go home, I meant he played sloppy. So no, but because you asked I'll answer - I don't literally know if Jaedong wanted to leave the stadium and go home quickly, but that's beside the point. It was a figure of speech. Is this TL's 'take it literally day' or something?

And yes, in my analysis that was a one sided game in which neither player played their best. So yeah, it was sloppy and certainly not any fun to watch, especially when compared to the great games the rest of the evening gave us. Finally, no, not all one sided games are bad, as was seen in Stork vs Fantasy - there was something to see in that game. You are free to your opinion of course, but in JD vs Bisu there was no brilliance like Stork's shuttle play from either party. Bisu just played top notch as usual and JD completely dropped the ball. You suggest saying it wasn't epic - are you kidding me? It was the complete opposite of epic. If epic was even on the scale, that game couldn't be placed on it.

Maybe it was new timings, maybe it was being under prepared compared to his opponent, but the fact of the matter is that as a viewer, that game was pretty boring compared to the rest, and that is exactly what I have said. Again, I don't see where you see bias there. I was merely commenting on how the game played out in comparison to the rest of the evening.

Before more people get on the bandwagon and start saying I'm Jaedong bashing, let me point you to - "Up till this point, Allstars was good, nay great, and we really couldn't think of better players to give us a stellar finish to the evening." The coverage team, and pretty mch everyone else was expecting this to be a much better game than it was, precisely because of the calibre of players involved.

it was calm who said, 6 and upmagic responded 66 to sack boxer. if you wanted flair you coulda said the team avenged boxer's weasel 3-on-1 on yellow by taking it to him hard, and yellow got even later by doing a reaver drop and expoing at boxer's spawn point, pylon surround, etc.

did you watch the game btw?

"Vulture harass? Cute. I'll bash his front door now". Kudos on the variation on the Bulldog strat, oldschool 'toss aggression with a modern expansionist twist. I wanted one of Stork's epic macro games, but he was in his patented PvT god-mode. Relay was awesome, Boxer vs. Yellow was totally cool, and Protoss win everything because fall is upon us.

Uh wat wat Bisu vs Jaedong bad?? WORST GAME OF THE EVENT? Come on man, Flash vs savior was a joke. If Flash played properly it would have been a great game! But he tried to do something funny which wasn't even funny, it was boring as hell and nuking your own units and base is just disrespectful to your opponent.

The best game was Bisu vs Jaedong and the rest of the games were all pretty meh, watch last year's games they were much better. I was hoping for a coach-fight too :/

All-Stars was great and hilarious, thanks for the write-up! If I hadn't seen the games, I would want to watch them now.

And if any Korean speakers have the time and willingness to make subtitles, or even a transcript, that would be hugely appreciated :D

edit: Stork vs Fantasy was beastly. That game was deadly serious too. <3 Stork!
May the BeSt man win.

Awesome writeup for an awesome event. The 3v3/relay was truely a hit!

Jesus Christ you're exadurating. Now I don't care if it's a way to defend your text or that you actually believe it. All I feel is that Jaedong looked hungry, but got f***ed and was certanly mad, which makes me feel like Bisu really got to him. Now I don't think that Jaedong in any way came there with the intent of loosing the game and then going home and you saying that it looked like that by how hard he got owned, just makes me feel like you weren't watching Jaedong or the game.

Either way, I feel like this game was far from awful and I really enjoyed it, inspite of Jaedong getting his ass handed to him that fast. Biased or not, I would have liked the game even if it had been Jaedong's new timings owning Bisu and I'd definetly recommend people seeing this game, far more then the BS flash/savior game. Your article was ok, but in the future I'd rather read something that you actually believe, then something you would write for shits and giggles.
