KSC: His filter reads pretty poorly. He had very little input D1, and the bulk of his activity is arguing with Palmar wrt his Damdred case. Softly shat on the MZ wagon and threw his vote away on Palmar. High mafia probability. Mocsta: I’m not up on my Mocsta meta so I’m just going to give my feels about Mocsta and someone more readily familiar can check my work. He’s doing this thing that I seem to recall being NAI, where he acts super sure of himself and his reads regardless of actual level of certainty. It feels townie to me, as it feels like a way to push people off-balance and get their emotions up, something I don’t readily associate with Mocsta’s mafia play. This post gives me pause, however, in which he agrees with on the current vote leader but votes in favor of another wagon. In his favor is the fact that he’s pretty open about the fact that he considers both to be crapshoots, and not liking FF, the other viable wagon. Overall I think he’s town, but like I said, someone who is more familiar with Mocsta’s meta should look and see if there’s anything I missed or was mistaken about. | ||

Opens with /decent/ reasoning wrt Damdred’s role speculation, and focuses on it to exclusion. In fairness, Damdred gave him nothing really else to base it upon. The crux of his argument appears to be that as town Damdred has no reason to discuss his role mechanics, therefor that makes him mafia trying to appear town (presumably with a fake claim? or with his own real mafia role?) Generally speaking I find his reasoning to be flawed in that he’s saying there is only this one way to behave as a townie, and failing that he’s mafia. This is almost always my exception with Palmar’s early reads - unless there’s meta analysis (which later on there is, we’ll get there) Palmar almost always expects townies to act the way he’d act, and they almost never do. It results in him thinking literally everyone is stupid. It doesn’t get him ZERO results, but it’s hit or miss and he knows it. There were a scant 4 posts wrt Damdred’s meta that Palmar attempted to sway the lynch with - I’m not sure of the validity of the meta, but it does come before the lynch and attempt to get people off MZ. I just don’t think he bothers as mafia. He expands on the meta read after the lynch, but it at least aligns with his posted reasoning before the lynch. I think Palmar probably town. I could be wrong, Palmar probably better than I am, but he seems like he’s putting in a base-level town-Palmar amount of effort. | ||
