I sucked at the first two i played and solved the last game on D1 in the obs QT.
I don't like the setup at all, especially with the special mechanics. I also don't like the way people play the game and i don't wanna play a game where i think people play it "wrong".

He was talking to me Rayn. It is kinda curious how closely Rayn and I usually see things to come out so vastly different on this setup. I think it's perhaps a difference in how we approach and see games.

The problem isn't that the setup is scumfavored. The problem is (as i wrote in the last game's obs QT) that the game is actually way easier than a normal game of mafia. It is a statistical fact due to every lynch randomly having a 33% chance of hitting mafia (50% if you are in the said cell). Towns just doesn't know how to play it properly. There is ALSO an extended D1...
Basically people make or try to make reads on stuff that is purely game mechanics and what you can't really make reads from (at least accurate lol). People also focus on talking about stuff that doesn't further town winning the game. Idk why that happens in every single cell game, probably because the game type is new to our mafia (i know i am guilty of same mistake in my first game).
Basically a good comparison would be that towns try to solve the game by rolehunting when it's an all vanilla game....
Unless i did the math incorrectly town should have a 24% chance of winning the game by randomly lynching every day.... Add a 50/50 there and the chance is even higher.
