I have arrived. Skimmed through everything, tried to take note of non-mechanics discussion and failed for the most part, so no reads at this point, especially considering I know like none of you. Such is life. I put in for number 7 last night when I got my PM, which I think someone said they Might be going for but could go for a different one?

Let me know what role to pick. I'm at work but have internet access all through the day, just won't be on every minute. I'm not going to be a high volume poster and I have trouble telling alot of you apart right now, as the names just blur together on my readthroughs. I also don't have much experience with multiple mafia teams, especially at such a high ratio, so like someone said, I'm assuming for 1/3 posters is posting with mafia motivation. I admit I don't have much to contribute at this point since I don't have any ideas which people are being difficult for reasons and which are doing it because they are stubborn/really just want to be a certain role.

Just here for role madness fun and to shake off the rust.

People actively seeking my lynch today are suspicious to me of course. Yes I have not been an active poster, but others have done the same with less content and/or actually been scummy. I just haven't had much to say to you strangers. I don't expect a townread on me, but to actually suggest trying to lynch me day1 when I have an investigative role that can be used as directed tonight or later and with there being much shakier people seems odd and suspicious.

I have no comments about the role picking and such, but while I think Kitoman's points about using the extra investigative roles were good, the tone I got off his responses struck me as non-town. Dunno.

I regularly catch up on the thread between calls at work Copcake. I just have trouble telling you all apart, have no meta to go off of, and am unfamiliar with this kind of setup, so I'm coasting for the most part until role actions start happening, a bunch of people get killed off n1 making the playerlist more manageable, and I can start really playing.

I mentioned it earlier, but this really has to be one of the scummiest posts in the game. Scum are always ultra aware of who suspects them and he brings it up as a....compliment? That was sarcasm. Vayne had posted that he was going to try and snipe someone he read as scum. He apparently read me as scum off two posts, one of which was admittedly not great. It was a sarcastic congratulations on moving me down 5 or 6 spots. I was TOLD I was going to be assigned a role by the guy organizing everything, which I didn't have a problem with and went along with. I just wanted to be told what role, so if I had any huge objections I had time to argue against it. I didn't have any issue with the role. I've said multiple times I won't have much input for your on the glorified Night 0 before the game actually started, haven't changed my story on that. I didn't say I shouldn't be lynched. I said I seemed like a weird choice for a day 1 lynch before there is even a chance to use the role I was assigned, which is a one use only anyway.

Oh. No I hadn't caught up all the way yet. My understanding of my role is it is a one use, cannot be bus-driven, if I pick abysswalker I will be told who has the role unless I am killed or roleblocked. So a watcher on me would net us a scum in any situation, wouldn't it?

Actually a very different reasoning than I was expecting; I thought you were going to go with a "other people are more valuable" part of it, and I was going to counter that at this point my result is a guaranteed scum or I am, because there is 0 town reason to take that role, so either a scum took it, I lie about my result in which case I am scum, or SL(I think?) lied about it already being taken, in which case he is scum. There is no such guarantee that our cops (assuming they aren't mafia themselves) will actually find scum today or tomorrow or before they are killed. I do see what you are saying about only having to worry about 3 possible people that would want to block it though. I find it a little weird your lack of interest in a guaranteed scum find though in favor of maybes...

Going out for poker and more drinking. It's partially OMGUS, it's true, but it's also that I could easily see you being a scum on the same team as the abyss-picker, trying to draw attention towards whoever the cops check and leaving room to protect yourself and keep me as an easy lynch. As for the inital thing with VA? He said early on he was going to snipe someone he found scummy, and I'd only had like two posts by that point, one of which was basically just me saying I'd skimmed everything and hadn't gotten any reads. I wasn't exactly happy about it, but I was still middle of the pack for picking, I kinda suspected someone might snipe me because I wasn't trying very hard, and no real harm was done.

Although obviously a town will die if you do not save me, I'd almost rather it happen now rather than later. No matter what happens, with my lax play so far I'm going to be an easy mislynch target as the game goes on, and have no remaining powers to assist town. I honestly still think you are probably mafia onegu. If nothing else then because town would have wanted me to check if one of the other mafia roles was in the game. I'm not as hardcore on it as I was since the flips, but that is still definitely how I lean there. I haven't been following as closely since my death warrant, but if my death was to be redirected, my gut is saying glowingbear would probably be the best.
