They need to find out who is mafia, and they need to not be lynched. It goes both ways. You failed at finding the mafia, but scott31337 failed at not being lynched. It's not entirely your fault. Mafia is an extremely hard game, and you can't win every time. I don't really think that the best part of mafia is winning, there have been some mafia games where I've lost that I enjoyed much more than other games where I won. You put a ton of effort into this game and it seemed like you were very enjoyable to work with as town, which is honestly more than anyone can ask for. | ||

1. When you have a known setup (from mafia play), don't tell town what setup it is. GB should've claimed Jailkeeper not medic. 2. Don't tell town what you're plans as mafia are. Just don't do it. All you're doing is helping town get "on track." Which is literally against your win con. 3. Work together. As mafia, you should be acting as a team. That doesn't mean you all have to be doing the same thing, pushing the same targets or filling the same role. But you need to coordinate what you're doing to some extent. The mafia infighting clearly spread into the thread and IMO became pretty obvious at points. 4. Bus with a PURPOSE not just because you can. Have a clear plan both for what to get out of a bus and how to use a bus. Otherwise, you just end up helping out town for no gain. 5. When you decide to tunnel as mafia, you need to adjust to the flow of the game. MD's tunnel on Copcake was really bad; because of he was pushing it for pretty weak reasons while being exceptionally exuberant about it, it looked worse and worse as time went on. Additionally, it drew major attention to him and his target in such a way it's really hard to either disengage the tunnel (and look towny for how you do it) or have the target disengage. In this instance, if you had analyzed the tunnel and looked at the reactions between the two, it's obvious Moosy is mafia because of how Copcake responds. She's pissed and angry at the tunnel. She tries to avoid pushing him while pushing him. She's frustrated by MD. How does her overall frustration/anger/etc. make any sense coming from mafia-v-town? If the Moosy is town, she can't really be mad at him/frustrated with him/want to quit the game over him; SO WHY WAS THAT THE CASE??? 6. Regarding NK's just kill people you are highly unlikely to lynch. I think the MD shot on the cop was ok, but it would've been better to leave him around for 1 day. I don't think NocturneMage was on the right track and as GF the cop essentially a Named VT at that point. So you can delay his lynch if you want. I probably would've shot Fido then NM but doing the reverse is fine too. Granted, I barely read the thread so I won't be super analytical or spot on with everything. But the D1 avoiding the GB claim is fine. Rayn made a great play to CC GB and Breshke wisely kept his mouth shut. When no one else CC's GB, cop can be reasonably sure it's the first setup so the D3 claim on red check is fine. | ||

1 Mafia is a team game as either alignment. Mafia - though it appears there were some disagreement with strategy - as yes double bussing IS suboptimal but STILL possible - seemed to have a plan, a plan contingent on what would happen if some scummer went down. Moosy DID have that plan - a high risk plan, but still, a plan. And he stuck to it. Also to Moosy's credit, he also kept his gameplay up. Most mafia usually fade out. He did not. 2 When you are in lylo, it's important to read all the posts and read progressions of both players, especially in 3-man lylo. There were gaps in reads for Moosy on Cake - it was critical as to prioritising BF over Cake and then it came down to the DT check. 3 NK WIFOM. In early game when Yamato was killed it was weak. But in late game it is very strong indicator of who is scum. Why was the most townread person alive? I honestly thought on THIS alone the lynch would have been between Fidei and Moosy for this reason. This said, James (Fidei) it is his first time in lylo. It is his first time he has had something like this and I understand he was very hampered, he has a very busy work schedule and he cannot play this all day. Moosy's 26 page filter had a lot to do with inability to evaluate. I have been endgamed as town and it hurt very bad, and I am still hurt a little by getting endgamed in Gaiden. I have also endgamed townies as mafia and I see firsthand the rage that gets thrown and a lot of analysis that is realised - why weren't we caught, why were we able to fool town or did town make bad decisions? I think it's a good learning experience as both alignments how to adjust and strategise and I don't think anyone should be made to feel bad. | ||

I cannot see the double bussing or rather I did not. I would not have had that. But Fidei and ironically MD were the main reasons I checked Copcake. She also posted something that I felt was supreme blue role baiting and she sealed her fate. Also she is so well aware I am grateful to have gotten lucky into replacing into a slot that was coached by HTS. She was a great coach. <3 her. Geript I thought I was dead and I hoped to get the doctor outed. Breshke was clearly the doctor after it. He was roleblocked every night in this game. Rayn, you can't blame fidei for not letting you realise cake was Mafia, if that's what you meant. Also, if you got cake so wrong, reading your opinion on Moosy shouldn't mean much for him to be fair. Fidei did what he could in LYLO. And he was very townie imo. I sucked . But I think that's my role on a Mafia team. Dying so my partners can look good and townies look bad lol. | ||
