i've never seen scum play with scum motivation in mind. I've seen scum bus each other, i've seen scum point fingers at town. i've seen scum point fingers at town then back track on that read for absolutely no reason.

My top 2 scum objectives would be to

1. Blend in as town
2. Don't get your team mates killed.

By throwing a name out there you "look" like ur scum hunting(blending) and maybe to get attention off of a scum team mate(deflecting). At that point thread was dead so it'd only apply to blending in. You didnt even push on VA, u only softed which is what many so many mafia do.
