This game follows all the standard rules for a TL Mafia game, unless specified here. If you are not familiar with them, you probably should not be playing this game. I'll post the cheating list anyway:

Cheating:
Cheating includes (but is not limited to)

1. Posting after death. You may have one polite goodbye post, but it may not contain any potentially game-changing information.
2. Ruining the game by doing something like hand out your mafia's member list to the town.
3. Logging on to someone else's account to get their role or looking over someone's shoulder to get their role.
4. Comparing role PM times to determine roles.
5. Posting screenshots of your inbox.
6. Posting or sharing any PM you receive from a host.
7. Getting yourself modkilled to help your team. Your non-majority-decided death may not be used as a bargaining chip.
8. Signing up more than once using smurf accounts.
9. Betting items outside of the game in exchange for in-game benefits.
10. Sharing accounts with other players unless cleared by the host in advance. Otherwise, only you may post on your account.
11. Breadcrumbing the specific phrasing of your role PM. Do not compare the phrasing in your role PM to prove your alignment. You can claim the abilities you have, but you can't use the specific phrasing of your role PM.

Palmar specific rules

1. Don't be a dick.
2. I will modkill you if you're a dick. Modkilling is completely at my discretion so don't try to skirt the rules, or get out on technicalities. If you're not sure you can do something, ask me before you do.
3. All questions should be PMd to the moderator. You are not allowed to say in thread you’re going to ask the moderator something, and you are not allowed to share your answer with the thread. If the question is a clarification all town needs to know, I will simply post an announcement in the thread.

Do not ask questions in the thread once the game has started (you can do it during sign-ups).
4. There are no activity requirements. Town is responsible for moderating itself by lynching or shooting undesirable activity levels. I will however punish pointless and boring spam, and I will request warnings (or bans, depending on severity) for inactivity or spamming after the game, if you are deemed to have been playing against your win condition.
5. I generally do not replace people. Don't sign up unless you can play. If you have to drop out you will be dealt with by town and remain inactive. In some situations (emergencies), I might make an exception to this rule.
6. I modkill you if you edit your posts. No warnings.
7. Important: Do not post when you should not be posting. Especially after a "Hammer" vote

Silent nights, with the exception of the first night, and a night start.

The Setup

This is an open normal setup as follows:

Cop: You check a single player's alignment every night. You receive the result "innocent" or "guilty"
Gunsmith: You create a gun every night and hand it to a player of your choice. That player will be notified he
got a gun (but not from whom). The gun can be shot by PM-ing a mod at any point during the day. The target will be hit with 1 KP. No announcement will be made on who shot the gun.
Veteran: You will survive the first KP you are targeted with. Any subsequent KP will kill you. Your extra life can't be roleblocked away.
Vanilla Town: You are vanilla town, you only have your voice and your vote.
Lawyer: You can target one of your teammates every night and they will appear innocent to cop checks. You can not target yourself.
Roleblocker: You can roleblock a player every night. This roleblock will not stop the player from shooting from a gun during the day.
Shitty Witch: You can curse a player during the night. If you correctly match a player to his role in a PM to the host (example: "syllogism is the cop") that player will die (unblockable). If you are wrong, however, a message will be posted "<yourname> the Shitty Witch tried to curse <targetname> tonight but failed. You will essentially be confirmed mafia and the kill won't go through. You are a shitty witch so you lose your powers after night 0.

Role information and claims

Role PMs will only include your role name. Refer to this post for how your role functions.

Notifications

You will not receive any information you don’t need. You will not know if you were roleblocked, saved, investigated, visited or whether or not any of your actions had their desired effects or not. You can ask, but if I did not send you any information, you probably shouldn’t receive any.

I will not compensate for ignorance. If you break these rules I will modkill you without warning. These should be clear enough

Normally nobody ever edits on purpose right? I doesn't happen to me anymore but when I was new to mafia I pressed edit link by accident instead of quoting. Never on purpose.

Kinda harsh to modkill for an honest mistake. + the TL mods can see what you changed, in case of cheaterino massive bans can be issued.

I don't actually enforce the editing modkill that strictly.

And yes, starts n0 and n1+ are silent. The way I wanted the setup designed is to start silent night, but it felt awful that one player just dies without getting to talk at all, but talking n0 is very beneficial to town, so to prevent town from getting fucked over by claims, i added the witch role.

I'm updating the OP to clarify that the witch kill goes through any protection, including the Veteran's protection.

It also feels like it's worth it for scum to roll the dice and go for the witch hit since that 50/50 chance (probably better if u can blue-hunt for shit) + night kill = lylo day 1 lol (against admittedly a lot of blue roles but u have ur own power roles).

Unless the witch can only hit power roles not VT?

It does work on vanillas but if someone can point to me why that is OP then I'm all ears. the 50/50 chance feels really risky and I don't think I'd take the chance. If he misses mafia is basically fucked as town has guaranteed lynch day 1, a safe claim (the vet) a cop and the gunsmith, it'll go downhill fast for mafia. Vet can just claim and get the gun day 1 and mafia is down to 5v2 for the night. During the night they can't really kill the Veteran who is now confirmed and will have a gun, unless the gunsmith died.

I should note that the veteran cannot be roleblocked to be killed in single shot, he does take two shots to die. The only exception is a n0 witch kill.

game is already basically lylo day 1, especially if mafia hits the gunsmith. In fact if mafia hits gunsmith and gunsmith guns mafia, and the witch kill goes through the game can end basically after n0. If the gunsmith survives till n1, he must gun townie because it will be 3v3 unless the vet is hit (assuming ml on day 1).

Yes it's a small, fast, intense game. If you fuck up, you're fucked.

Nope, n0 is talking, all other nights are silent. The witch is simply there to deter town from claiming n0.
