Okay about the ObiWanShinobi lynch that didn't happen.
First yamato77 points his finger at ObiWanShinobi. I very quickly agree and put my vote in this thread. Nobody seems to care much though about any of this, iamperfection and Koshi are still arguing about whatever. This happens for a few pages before you (VisceraEyes) vote for ObiWanShinobi claiming it's as good as any other lynch. ExO_ quickly follows up. At this point there isn't even a case on ObiWanShinobi, just a bunch of people voting him. Slight resistance in that Forumite votes ExO_ for his hardly reasoned vote. No one really talks much about ObiWanShinobi and the lynch loses traction after you switch to Forumite instead. Slighty support from 27ninjabunnies and Toadesstern.
Honestly, it doesn't feel much like scum had much influence on how it didn't happen. It seems much more like we were still going on about other stuff and it just got kind of lost in that. yamato77, me, you, ExO_ all looking good for voting him, but nobody is looking like they were really trying to divert attention from him, he didn't have much in the first place outside of the votes and they just kind of dissipated on their own. Koshi's questioning came after the initial hype had died down.
I think it's far fetched to think that anything in the ObiWanShinobi lynch timeline points at Koshi being scum.

I mean, it seemed more like just a whatever kind of throwaway question that might yield something useful but maybe not and then he kind of forgot about it. It doesn't seem like he's doing into full tunnel mode and then suddenly dropping it.

So who were the most talked about for lynch people yesterday? Forumite, iamperfection and Corazon. And Damdred talks about them a total of 1 times when he mentions Forumite in passing. He doesn't have an opinion on iamperfection and he mentions Corazon one single time, very early on, when he just wants to know why he's off iamperfection's list. Why randomly question some town read, that turned out to be correct?
Like Alakaslam already pointed out, there's also some weird jokish stuff in there that looks bad. Joke about being scum, another joke about being scum.
The general attitude of his filter is one of not giving a fuck. I was being very negative and despairing about our prospects of even lynching anyone with all these lurking people around and then his answer was lol maybe we can't agree either. Just a carefree "We probably can't lynch and we probably can't agree" and still he's doing nothing for town. Seems like he's not bothered at all about this.
I also somewhat randomly asked him about why he wasn't voting ObiWanShinobi yesterday and his answer was "Haven't seen a good case". It wasn't a curious investigative "Why you asking about ObiWanShinobi?", it wasn't a boisterous "Because he's totally town!", it wasn't anything,, it was simply a declaration that once he sees a good case on him, he will vote him, along with an apology in case there had been one he had not noticed.
In the end he makes a throwaway vote on ExO_, even saying in his own vote (and earlier in the game) that he doesn't have much reason to think that ExO_ is even scum. Also the wording of the vote "I'm going to put up a vote" seems like it's something he thinks is a big deal but if a townie thinks his vote is a big deal there's going to be a case or a push or whatever. He's not even attempting to drum up support for it, it looks way too much like a throwaway vote.
All in all, he looks really scummy. He hardly takes a stance on anything, he's not trying to involve himself in the happenings of the game, he seems carefree about what he thinks is a bad state of town and he does this nervous joking around and a throwaway vote.

my point is that you call your own lynch after a case and two votes. townies are generally more certain they'll be able to succesfully defend themselves because they know they are townies and they didn't do anything wrong.

if you read obiwan's filter and didn't think he looked scummy then i just think a townie would be more likely to say "i don't think he looks scummy is why i'm not voting him, why would i think he looks scummy?" and not "show me a case and maybe i'll bother"

townies don't lie for no reason. you can't play this game if you think townies lie about random things for no reason. then every single case is dismissable on the grounds that "he's just doing whatever". when townies lie they think "hey, if i say this and that something might come of it" but that's absolutely not what bill murray is doing right now. he just said something because he thought he would get town cred or spread chaos or whatever and then he said some more shit about a claim and then he left because "fuck this".
obiwan did indeed point his finger at bm but not really. he didn't vote for him or anything, it was really just an offhand remark and then a slight followup because of something BM happened to say to him to him. i wouldn't draw any conclusions from that.
