Here's why you should: (1) I promise not to steal from you for the rest of the game; (2) I can steal from other players and potentially get information; (3) If I steal items back, I can't pick which items I take, so I might end up taking something you want to keep. (Per the op you can give items to people) As an aside, if I was scum I probably wouldn't have held onto one of those items; you can probably figure out what I mean. | ||

So, here is a question. strongandbig & visceraeyes both started the day with majority vote counts. Since no one claimed the power, is it possible it's related to Oats using his anti-lynch power yesterday? I feel like that's likely because both powers are vote-related. It could be that oats used a power to increase their vote counts (though I wouldn't pick s&b as a likely lynch, visceraeyes feels like a possibility). Or, it could be one of the negative effects for him after using his power. If it's a negative effect and he flips scum, I feel that makes VE look a lot more questionable. @Palmar Would you let me shop at your store? I guess you want to keep it town only, but c'mon it's 2014 you don't have to be so segregated. My money is green, even if I'm not :3 | ||

@strongandbig: Why use that power? I can understand your push on VE given his weird checks, but it seemed to me like Oats would be the likely lynch for today so why not use it tomorrow? Or do you want to try for VE over Oats today? | ||

VE claims his night action didn't occur (but maybe it's because he didn't send his message to all the mods) JAT claims his action didn't occur. My night action doesn't seem to be blocked, but it was reversed (and amplified). S&B's action appears to have gone through because there were the insta-majorities. | ||

I have not successfully stolen any items yet this game. My visits were: N1- Paperscraps, no items N2- Justanothertownie, no items N3- VayneAuthority, no items N4- Geript, my check didn't go through and my items were given to geript. If players want to create a list of one or two players who I will visit, that's fine with me; I don't particularly care who I steal from. If I were going to suggest a list, I guess it would be VisceraEyes (because he is under doubt) or maybe Paperscraps (because if he did kill someone I would have missed him n1). I don't have a particularly strong preference for who I visit, if you want to add a suggestion that's fine. I don't want to steal from geript, it didn't work out for me well last time. | ||

I was glad to cooperate with town but Palmar wants to kill me and you are compliant, so here's the deal. There's four good reasons you shouldn't shoot me. (1) You die sooner Palmar wants to kill all 3p. This is pretty evident from his posts. If you kill me, all you are doing is shortening the list of people he will want to have killed/lynched. Town seems to be in a good spot since there's probably only 1/2 scum left, so it's possible they will lynch among the 3p claims. If that's the case, you'll want me to be another person who might die. (2) I can help your claimed wincon I don't know what is protecting sandroba; it could be a role powers, it could be items. However, if I'm alive I'll promise to use my one-shot disable power on a night of your choice. Using my one-shot disable power gives you a substantially better chance (perhaps the only chance) of killing sandroba because there won't be items to protect him. I actually don't want sandroba to die, since he seems to believe I am 3p and not worthy of a lynch. But, I'm certainly willing to make that deal. (3) Cooperating with Palmar doesn't help you I guess if you shoot me you may get town cooperation cred from Palmar. If you haven't noticed, he doesn't care if 3p cooperates with town. - I've been pretty compliant and forthcoming by giving my role & powers and sharing who I visited when. - If you believe my role at all, I haven't been town or scum. I didn't disable and swap items after the creation of the FOAL and Ankh. If I were scum, I would have certainly done so to prevent a revive or to try to get the revival item to bring back a scum player. Despite this, Palmar still wants you to kill me. If I die, he'll want to kill you just as much as he did before. (4) You have an out I can protect myself tonight since I have a vest and a one-shot self protect. This means that you can claim you shot me regardless of what you actually do tonight. If you shoot at sandroba and he lives, you can still say you shot at me if you want. - I don't mind much if you shoot at me, but understand that you basically will help someone who wants to kill you, and make an enemy out of someone who is willing to help you. I'd like to buy something, but a slightly more significant part of the reason was because it'd help me get insight if I take someone's items; it let's my item taking mechanic be more informed since I can see what people purchased and determine if they *should* have it or not via a kill. I am going to stick to my current night action, but I guess I wouldn't mind button duty that much (if it's not a night where I'm using one-shot for JAT). | ||

If you have reason to trust paperscraps based on play, that's fine; if so, you should probably trust geript as well since paper claims to have roleblocked geript, and given the night kills I figure it's unlikely scum was roleblocked. Later people (austin, geript, killing, maybe someone else I forget) pointed me toward stealing from among suspected people and that's fine by me. Anyway, I figure the res item was probably a one-use item that was consumed to revive Blazinghand... if it was still in game, I assume we would see town/scum coming back to life (plus that sounds like it could be broken). | ||
