Uh what. That's exactly what hopeless said about rayn. Why does him coming back and posting absolve him from anything he's done this game? Reasons for a vote aren't alignment indicative.

At this point I wasn't even sure that HF was serious on DP. The whole game was still in a trolly stage, and given that HF's case here is based on weak arguments I was expecting this to be a joke as well, but apparently HF is dead serious and kept looking for arguments to use on DP.

It would look terrible at a later stage of the game, but given that it was exactly in the context of an early town it is not, hence I have issues with two players here who were basically the trigger for the game to go into serious mode.
HF cause he went from a jokey vote on DP to serious mode based on a post placed in such context.
Hopeless cause he didn't consider HF could be joking with his initial posts, and immediately proceeded to call him scum for it. HF's first post on DP was obviously a joke, how do you conclude that the second one has to be serious so quickly, no questions asked. I for myself didn't think DP was really a scumread until HF started calling hopeless scum as well.
Hence I would like these two to somehow explain why they saw the respective posts as something that should be taken seriously. I think there's a difference at early stages in how scum views the thread and how town does, which would be that scum looks for anything to use against a townie, and town just posts and rolls with the game until something noteworthy happens, and then try to let people expand on it. Hopeless and HF both went insta-you-scum-bro.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that HF didn't go uscumbro on Palmar like he did on hopeless. The post where he said that he liked DP's post looked pretty bad to me until he explained that he didn't see the observation about rayn as alignment indicative yet thought it would come from a townie.

The initial posts on dp were jokes. Then he started posting weird shit so i switched to serious mode. Hopeless was because he called me scum because of the scooby doo thing and then contextless reads on people.

@vivax so to you the first person to call someone else scum off something is typically more mafia sided so what do you think of rayn? now that we know coag's flip do you think that speaks more positively or negatively of rayn?

I like that. I feel like thats a reasonable arguement and I kinda set you up to bury rayn there or throw some suspicion on him espeiclaly since he just came in and rando voted and didnt say anything.
