Also, can't help but imagine this game if DI had been mafia. Can't claim to buddies, but can drop mild hints at what he needs? And then just go all-in on a D1 quote-fest where he kills everyone before someone stops him.

And anyway, picking mafia as first officer shows you're mafia if I get NKd, so it wouldn't have turned out badly under other circumstances.

Anyway, I'll change my strat in dealing with scumreads in the future. Telling people they're your scumreads is not as productive as letting them feel cosy.
