Nomainating FirmTofu's fake traitor claim in I Swear This Is Normal Mini Mafia 2 for best play!
The game has an unusual game game mechanic where everyone has a mason partner and there is a one time use mason-partner-kill where the first mason who pm the host will cause his partner to die instantly. At the end of D1 Sylencia decides to kill his Partner Artanis who flips scum. The 2 leftover scum, Rayn and Z-Boson are left in a bad position. I nominate Koshi. I don't actually know how he played in his newbie game(s), but after that was Titanic, where he made bad posts, then apologized for his bad play, called himself bad and it resulted in his mislynch on the last day. After that Koshi has been awesome and picked up his game! He's never been mislynched as town and has been the shiny beacon of towniness. Afaik he has won all his scumgames. He also won the Sicilian mafia as Serial Killer which is probably the most impressive thing i have seen in a while (considering that was his ~5th game here).
EDIT: I dunno if this could be considered in The most impressive newbie category aswell, but imo Koshi was not that impressive in his first couple of games -- only after that.

Gandalf is old, although not necessarily good at martial arts. However, when some gimpy little midgets leave him to fall down a hole, what happens? He comes back and helps those same gimpy little midgets with his wise old man powers.
Do the X-men ever think "gee, I haven't seen any bad mutants in a while, better just clobber Professor X today!"? No. He's an old man and he's got friggin' mind powers. He doesn't even have to be good at martial arts (probably isn't). He can probably force someone else (who IS good at martial arts) to fight for him. And he's pretty friggin' wise.

I can keep going, but I think this should be apparent. You don't attack old, wise men. They are smart. They are good at martial arts. They are valuable assets. Everyone who has ever been trained by an old wise person DOESN'T GO AND ATTACK THAT OLD WISE PERSON. It's just wrong.

Hey guys, I know that this isn't a category, but I would like to nominate Ange777 for Best Co-host.
Ange is always happy to co-host games. When she does, she is always on point with everything. When I think that a vote count needs to be done, it's already done by Ange. When something needs to be posted, usually Ange is on it. It also helps that she is very knowledgeable with the game of mafia and is always in control of her emotions. It always makes it really easy to deal with her and enjoyable. I think that she should be recognized for all of her hard work and dedication to the TL Mafia forums. Usually the co-host just does all of the bitch work, but she never complains about doing something and usually does it better than anyone else.
I hope that you can make a new category just to give her a special honor or something. Thanks :D

I was the one who caught scum that day, who kept town on track, and in the end I couldn't do it. I led them astray. Now I feel like that "spark" or whatever is gone, and I don't know how to get it back. I feel like when I've always been able to do everything naturally it's now like trying to speak a language I barely know, or write a story I've never thought of. It's not even like a sense of unfunness, it's just being... tired. Like when you are in bed and don't want to get up and face the world, but with none of the comfort and warmth that come from pulling the blankets over your head. I know that it's no excuse and that saying something like this is alignment-neutral but it's true.
I see Mocsta doing a reread and making new reads, and I think I should do that, since I don't have good reads now, but I can't. I just can't do it. It would probably save me too if I did. when I'm in the zone, I'm good. The game's only a couple hundred pages, I've read more in less time. I just can't, and I feel like dick that I can't.
Maybe I should just stick to hosting games.
