I hate all of you and you are ugly!
I like the combo of blazinghands case and the fact that cwave is very clearly (at least thus far, prove me wrong cwave) bonkers as a day 1 lynch. I personally think the 5 words part was in fact one of the very few true scum slips. I will be voting him when I get off work and get home.
I want navillus to weigh in on some things (take your pick as to what) as your tone and posting pre page 10 gave my gut a twinge. Has he played in other games I can look at?

On the bright side, Cwave was kinda bad during election mafia too(he tunneled me all game), and threw around pretty random accusations. Tragically it's par for the course so far.
Very possible his 5 words thing is a scum-slip, but also possible that he pulled it from hesmyrr's post as he said.
Jackal, I'd like to see you post at least 5 or 6 more times during Day1. You gonna number them for me? I don't know why you guys are voting for Cwave. He's right. That doesn't mean Radfield is scum but Cwave is correct in that if he is Radfield is slowly assembling parts of a key. And Radfield probably is scum. Yeah I can keep track if you like :D You have a tendency to coast as scum. This is something you surely agree with. I'd like to see you not coast. Also not sure if redFF is serious. Agreed. Blazinghand what other games have you played with Cwave? This would be 2 So you don't want to call people townies but it's ok to agree with people that call others townies????? Apparently townie is good to go? I think Cwave is one of the good guys (read townie) and you're continuing to contradict yourself.

Look I see the idea behind this limiting the reads we make but it hamstrings us too much. IMO the negatives of this 'plan' far out weigh the positives.

Let me summarize the plan for you guys.
Don't worry about semantics, just try to not create leaders. This way scum won't have a solid target.
Why is it so hard to understand something that simple?

Why is it so hard to understand something that simple? If you decide to push for the lynch of somebody I don't believe is scummy and I argue against it am I not calling that person town in my eyes? Is this "plan" merely a way for scum to get town to sheep along with them? This plan isn't a plan at all. It was stupid last night when I was drunk and it's just as stupid today while I am sober. Scum will pick and choose their targets the way scum always pick and choose their targets. And if they decide to shoot me because I'm acting "too townie" so be it. I've done my fucking job now haven't I?
I have no problems with a lynch of either Zephridd or Radfield at this point in time.

On GGQ well it's an weird, because I say he seems scummy for in a way supporting you by diverting attention and because he said he supported the plan even calling out that if people have a problem they should point to one of the steps... then he didn't actually call you or jackal out, the interesting thing is I think he got the same red read off of you that I did and that's why he helped you, so what you are doesn't actually matter to the read on GGQ. He could have seen what I saw, thought what I thought, then because he's scum reacted differently.
My opinion on Radfield's "plan" was that it makes sense and if you understand what he's saying then there's not much to argue about. I also thought it was a little overbearing but that doesn't negate the validity of the idea. I don't think the "plan" was critically important and I think we've already spent way too much time talking about it.
I didn't call out jackal or redFF about it because it was a question of whether they were misunderstanding the "plan" or misrepresenting it. I wanted to see how they would respond to my clarification of the logic. Plus it was just a couple hours after the game began and most people hadn't even posted yet.
I think that your theory that I was trying to divert attention from redFF is completely inane.

Jackal and logic have never gotten along well together.

Well put.
This is also why its a bad plan. Setting out on day 1 with a game plan of never allowing 'leaders' to emerge is an amazingly bad plan. How often does one or two players end up contributing way more than others? This plan would be to ignore those types of players and to silently cheer them on.
I refuse. This is not a good way to play. We can't cut our own head off just to maybe confuse the mafia a tiny bit.

Let me exemplify what he means, as it seems you couldn't understand from his last example. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=298603¤tpage=15#287
This is what should not be done. Go ahead, defend someone and call him town(or "not scum"), that's not a problem. The problem would be to throw "this guy is town" left and right on the thread. The problem would be to say "Since this guy is saying this, then I trust him" instead of making your own analysis.
Come on, he basically asks us to not create useful lists and to not sheep. I do agree that his choice of wording is horrible, but that's what I can get from it. It's simple, really.

EMWOP
Come on, he basically asks us to not create useful lists and to not sheep should actually read

He isnt saying not to make lists and not to sheep. That is totally different in effect.
If thats then plan then I support it. This does not mean you cant agree with people though and that needs to be clear.
There is always going to be a gray area between sheeping and agreeing and we shouldnt cut out our tounges just to avoid maybe crossing that line.
Take my post where I agreed with Blazinghand. Do people see this as a post that heps the scum?

Just read through the last few pages quickly, before I actually go over everything more carefully I'd say I don't really see the case against Cwave, first I understand where he was coming from/why he jumped on radfield, I mean we were spending a lot of time talking about how mafia might try to communicate through the thread and what radfield posted honestly does look like something mafia could use, that said I think he may have jumped too hard, I think we need to be careful and not post things like that but I don't think that's a huge tell on radfield. On the other hand I absolutely don't think this is a reason that Cwave would be scum, a stupid vote like this is not a scumtell in my book, honestly I would think scum would be much slower to jump on someone with no votes who seems not scum, the only other thing is his 5 word assumption, that could be a scumslip, but I won't be putting much weight into it myself as I actually had assumed the same thing either because of Hesmyrr's post or just because I skimmed the rules post and have been reading SC Mafia I so I assumed it was the same.

I had to mafia wiki it... Sometimes, successful lynching of the "Village Idiot" results in the mafia being able to kill two people that night.
What is the motive behind this post? Cwave takes one line from one wiki page, so he definitely had a reason to post specifically this.
I can only assume he's trying to make redFF look scummy for saying he wants to lynch the VI. This seems like a gross attempt to misrepresent a player.
I don't see any town motivation for this post. Cwave is scum.

Radfield, why did you use a different scheme of enumeration in you example list? Answer this.
The number 1 priority for scum today is to push a mislynch. They don't know who each other are, so the safest thing to do is to push a weak town player, or someone who committed some mistake. Their options are to either sit around, and let town run amok, which is bad for them, to support a lynch on someone they read as scum, which is bad for them, or to try to push a mislynch, which is good for them. Right now, the sudden support for offing Cwave looks like it's falling into that third category, so I'm going to pay particular attention to everyone who jumped on him, and for what their reasons were, because he makes a very valid point about what Radfield posted. If you say you can't see it, you aren't thinking hard enough, or you're scum.
Off to a lab, be back later.

I don't know. Do you think there's something more sinister about it as a result?
