LGC is playing like the early Chinese teams back in S2 (like the first WE which won IEM Guangzhou over CLG, SK, Ehome). They just ward deep, pick initiators and prioritise kills before objectives, sometimes overly chasing kills. Erect Gymnast and Carbon are definitely the shotcallers dictating their midgame plays based on how they play. Really refreshing to see this playstyle again. The refined objective-based Korean style has definitely killed off the Chinese Dota-like aggression style of S2/S3, but OCE are still Korean virgins as of yet :p Edit: Any experienced LCS team should be able to shut down LGC though, with better map control and rotations. | ||
