It's been said time and time again that mid/jungle synergy is so important and I think Voy and Dom are both rather unimpressive. I think Quas (he played poorly that game though) and Xpecial are LCS level but outside of that, I think the rest of the team are quite replaceable.

IWD can smite, i could have jungler at least for it. Damn, CLG had bigfatlpjiji jungler who could only smite and play Nocturne and he still was even top-3 NA jungle probably. Anyway, it was said times and times before this split. - If your main weapon coming into season and only weapon is Cop, you're doomed. So. - If you want, keep Cop. - Then replace Voyboy or swap Voyboy and Quas. - LEARN TO MAKE DECISIVE CALLS. - Wait, lose, wait more, win. - Profit. It's hilarious, because Curse's laning isn't bad and in some game they can even transition from laning into midgame. Why can't they do it permanently - it's other question, not from this world. Curse Academy trade Rhux for Keane to Coast, bench Cris, get Voyboy, Saint, Cop and Xpecial, finish Spring Split 2015 with 4-24, lose to Coast in Summer 2015 relegations. Saintvicious, Cop and Xpecial retire, Voyboy moves to Coast mid, wins NA Summer Split 2015, gets replaced by Keane before Worlds, retires. GG.

I think all of Curse suck, except maybe Xpecial and maaaayyyyyybe IWD (simply because if your team sucks it's kinda hard to be a impactful jungler.) I've literally never been impressed by Quas even when Curse was doing really well back in Season 3 for a few months. I know he made his name by coining solo top Mundo in solo q, but in LCS he never looked anything but mediocre even when Mundo was fotm. Voyboy has sucked/been mediocre at best ever since he got swapped to CLG - putting him in mid lane was also the dumbest thing any team could've done. IMO, it basically ensured Voyboy would be forever mediocre. IWD seems very lackluster to me, but he used to be pretty good before his 1 year ban so maybe it's just the team making him look bad. Then again, the 1 year ban could've made him stagnate/regress. Cop is consistent in that he consistently does nothing. When the rest of Curse is stomping, Cop actually does something, but that's not enough to be a top class AD. It also boggles my mind how Cop manages to get out-cs'd against virtually everyone in every game. Even back when teams ran lane swaps and left the AD carries alone in lane to 1 or 2v0 Cop would get out-cs'd.

Quas was absolutely awful this game (seriously, how do you go even as Renekton vs. Jax in the laning phase?), but overall I'd easily rank him into the top half of NA LCS top laners. He's better than Seraph (today's performance vs. C9 is still just one game), Innox, Westrice and I'd say Dyrus as well, overall- you could make a case for Balls being better than Quas, but that's it IMO. Xpecial on TSM last season was one of the top supports NA, and on Curse he also makes good plays. He's no Aphromoo, but he's definitely NA LCS caliber. IWD is decent, Voyboy is decent on a good day, and Cop is probably dead last among NA LCS ADCs. These are the positions where Curse could see the most improvement if they find good alternatives, as well as in-game shotcalling; though it's hard to tell whether that last part's the fault of their coaching/analysts or whoever Curse's shotcaller(s) is(are).

I think Quas plays fine considering how much hype was built up for him, of course he was never gonna trash LCS teams the way he trashed Challenger teams. I think Vooby and IWD are the main issues right now.

I agree with this for the most part. I think he's had a few pretty good games, few genuinely bad ones and I also think he's a really smart player in terms of using his teleport for engages and flanking. He pretty much solo carried Curse to fourth in the playoffs last split. Most of the other pros speak really highly of him and single him out as being Curse's best player (just yesterday, for example: ), so I'd give him another shot with a better roster of players.

but to say their laning isn't bad compared to LCS teams? what team, specifically what team would you rather have (as a whole) probly take them over Complexity and thats it, 7 of 8 is bad. not "not that bad", bad.

They did fine vs TSM in the early game, and people generally say that TSM are the strongest laners in the NA LCS, and iirc, they didn't lane swap either.

I'd say this last game vs. TSM is actually a pretty bad example if you want to defend Curse's laning performance, they should've won mid lane and won top lane hard, and instead only came out even against a better-scaling team. Even then though, that was hardly the worst part of this game for them; Curse had no game plan, and poor shotcalling. A good example of this is how they're hanging around TSM's midlane inhibitor turret 5v4, mostly just waiting for TSM to make a mistake so they can punish them for it, while Dyrus' Jax wrecked their last two bot lane turrets and inhib for free, pretty much. All game long, Curse were playing to not lose, instead of playing to win.

I'm not insinuating they are bronze 5 scrubs I'm saying "not bad" does not define the 7th best (of 8) lane phase in the LCS
