It's actually quite good. Samsung pretty much invented or brought it out to the pro scene at lestand now it seems like other teams are trying it out aswell.
Wow this thread is so legit! Anyway, with my Najin boys already qualifying I'm rooting for GOD-SIN, although it looks like they are in a spot of bother. I hope IM#1 don't qualify only to be the bitch of whatever group they are stuck in.

Got stuck with it once in s3, we were lucky because we weren't punished in the laning phase for it (well they pushed but they didn't harass us nor forced bad trades), I just plain rushed 40% CDR then survivability (can't remember if I maxed Q or E first, W was last tho), and we won by basically being impossible to initiate on while having great potential to isolate people, make picks, and take objective out of it. We had Cho'Gath and Ziggs (excellent long-range siege + tower killing from Ziggs, and mines+satchel+Rupture+Pillar + 2 huge-ass bodies to kill is hilariously hard to fight against), can't remember the jungler, and iirc our AD carry was Ashe.
Just because Trundle scales pretty well provided with a bulky guy on the enemy team doesn't mean he can't function really well with low farm too. I assume in s4 against somebody like Leona or Thresh who can't really harass yo, if you're able to pick a safe enough AD to combat shove while farming safely he can't actually get out of laning phase pretty 0K.

It's not like I mentioned how it worked because: 1- we weren't punished at all in laning phase despite a duo very well suited for it (only recall a poke support, but now chich one), biggest mistake imo 2- we had a specific teamcomp working well with him (jungler and I were last picks, some panic last second switching led to double junglers and I decided to support, but I had picked Trundle because of high synergy to begin with). 3- the way his skills scale (flat value for Q debuff, CDR for Pillar, CDR+resists+enemy tankiness for ult) mean that he's full of utility and requires little farm to improve it.

I don't know either but that Xenics team really lived up to their reputation when they choked like bitches in that qualifier lol. I cannot even imagine the frustration of the Xenics upper management. If they meet in the a penultimate qualifier it has the potential to be really exciting.
That invade from prime gave me cancer Prime Optimus are still looking solid all things considered Prime Optimus still has the occasional sloppiness but their overall execution is surprisingly good
Monte is fucking derping right now, he must be really tired. Calling tryndamere rengar like four times when theres no rengar in the game and then saying they know where lee sin is because lee sin's Q vision on gragas. D:

That's what 8 hours of casting does. All the games start to bleed together.

Prediction: KTB gets eliminated, mafa is removed from the team because "he wanted to retire". Zero moved down to support. Leopard new KTB jungler
Nah, gotta follow the CLG method. Import from the region west of you to poor results, then import to the region east of you to get the team back on track. So, get training for S6 kiddies, cause KTB's gonna have an NA jungler!

KT.HotshotGG incoming
That's not fair to Dexter. At least he's an actual jungler.
On the other hand, they could laneswap duo and mid and break out the dreaded support HSGGLeBlanc and make Faker quake in his boots.
Watching Rookie play Lulu was actually really annoying, he did super well in lane no doubt but he was super selfish with wimsy late game when it would have been a lot more useful on his teammates.

Is the graphic on the stream wrong? I didn't watch the last game but it says IM2 lost which would mean Alienware Top is qualified and IM2 is in the wildcard
As someone who watches all LCS games (regardless of throwbargains) is this qualifier series something I should do the same for? I heard doa+monte were pretty epic because the games were kind of one sided.

Yes. Even in bad games you get to hear about how Shen is an awful ninja.
Wanted to share this silly pic with you guys. I took others but this is the one the boys let me post
So, from 12 March, we have
Wednesday: 4 games OGN Champions Spring Thursday: 3 games OGN Masters League Friday: 4 games OGN Champions Spring Saturday: 4 games OGN Champions Spring Sunday: 3 games OGN Masters League
And if I do not remember wrong, Monte will cast all these games with Doa in Champions and with Chobra in Masters League ~18 games/week. If that's true, God bless his throat ! @_@

Group Selection is on the 5th.
Awesome! Do you know if it is going to be broadcast?
I'm not sure if there will be English casts, but I'm sure you can watch it in Korean. I'll be going to the event so I guess I can tweet the moment I find out.
Groups are actually fairly balanced this time, no overwhelming group like blue/bullets/IM#2/sword. Strongest is probably group A and weakest is definitely group B
group c has ktb and najin sword in a state of clusterfuckery. they will have a chance to figure it out. ssb should be favored in that group.
kta is a serious serious threat to skt s's chances of advancing from the group, and may upset skt k as well. PRIME optimus was the team who beat up kta in ogn qualifiers so they are not to be taken as an afterthought either. group a is by far the strongest group again
let's see if new frost is stronger. they might be able to make it this time with midas there.
Both SKT being in the same group back to back is really funny, at least not Blaze in the group this time to rain on the SKT parade. Will be interesting if S can edge out the Arrows.
kta is quite a bit stronger now than they were in the nlb days, but with new teams you can't really predict results from past games when their laning phase was about the same as skts, so there's not much of a true talent gap there.

This also had the Korean Hyena trying to go after SKT.
That's kakao. But when people who only say "i'll do my best and show good games" start saying they want the group KT B is in, it's pretty obvious that they mean it.
