I haven't watched much of OGN due to exams but on 3.14 I felt like it was really hard close out games, especially when facing power waveclearers like Zigs or Caitlin  Losing 1 or even 2 inhibs felt relatively meaningless.
the new SM on 3.15 are pretty insane though, don't pay attention to that lane for a minute and your nexus towers are gone.
You're still right that it was an extremely throwy game though.

3.15 is overall a nice improvement over 3.14. Annoying that promotions are played on the first patch of the new season, which is obviously far from perfect.

I mean, I saw a lot of 3-0 predictions, but I didn't see anyone hyping them up THAT much. MYM just shows up to play at random times, this shouldn't be too surprising.

It was really hard to overlook that MYM have pretty much been getting trashed by most challenger teams prior to this and CW ran through SK and NiP at a lan recently. Then again it was a different patch so maybe those were read into too much.

It was also other EU LCS pros that put them there. Actually some called them strongest EU team at some point. And they might still get there.
Sometimes weird things happen in promos though, like VES qualifying for example. Or Giants was also up 2:0 against Alternate.
