90% of the time when I miss it's because they turn around right as I fire it. I've gotten to the point where I only use it if they're slowed, close, or disengaging.

When I see it, Chain of Corruption looks pretty fast and reactive (unlike Undertow, or even worse Dark Binding, who have significant wind-up frames), why is it so easy to miss according to you? Is the hitbox that narrow?

I think because of the wormy animation it makes it's actual hit box appear larger then it is, or something along the lines of how your brain processes the size based on the animation.

No in general, he's really "weak" compared to other mid laners in NA.
