Karthus derped hard but still won the game by pressing R. Karthus in a nutshell. The problem with saying things like this is that M is aware karthus AND Eve are on the other team, but didn't build at all for their burst. Just compare the overall magic resist items on SKT vs M. SKT has so many null mantels, and even has two aegis(I assume one will be turned to bulwark as the bug lets them stack the aura.). Whereas aside from Katarina, Millennium barely have any magic resist on their team.
It's played on Zed patch, bulwark doesn't exist there.
edit: also losing to Reapered isnt so bad but that Kayle played pretty horrid

Oh? oops then. I guess those double Aegis a mistake(?). Hahaha. Either way, the overall MR on SKT is a lot higher than Millennium even came near

True, and it allows for one of them to die early. It's still not really that efficient.

Aegis is actually cost-efficient by itself, even without factoring in the aura. So if you want to go for an "egoist" build it's still good.

No surprises for Day 1. See you all tmr~

So, I'm back, someone mind summing up the day for me? Any games recommended to watch? Especially, how did fnatic do (vs T1)?

No upsets on Day 1. If you want to see exemplary display of teamwork, watch any Fnatic game. Closest match would probably be T1 v Mill.

More games tomorrow, and no other stuff this time!

But NeoIllusions you agree that Angush playstyle and timing lost them the game vs SKT? ofc the bug had also an impact.
And what are predictions for tomorrow people?

lot of teams were going double aegis before the s3 patch.
Also heart of golds everywhere!

Just watched the first three games and the start of mouz vs M. fnatic never really seemed threatened, I'm impressed - games were largely boring though. SKT T1 will probably need to replace Mightily, fnatic just identified him as the weakness and destroyed him. SKT may take the longer approach and allow him to grow better through experience - will only be possible if SKT doesn't get a shortcut into OGN LoL and has to go through NLB first.
Was very skeptical about Araneae co-casting, but he's really insightful about the game, and this analysis table really suits him. (a good "invention", should keep that one around. Better get Deman casting sometimes, though!) He gives sound reasonings about champion picks and knows the european players damn well. Also, his english is sooo funny to listen to!

Reapered is so cool lol. "Counter pick? I don't care. Jax too strong"

And what are predictions for tomorrow people? No, Kayle lost it for Mill more than Khazix. I'll agree Angush didn't look as good today as he did at IPL5. I still blame it on the fact that they're still a new team, even though they have 3-4 really talented players. They need a lot of refinement.
Tmr: CLG.eu > all, I don't see CJ that much better than T1 but it'll be enough to help them out of Group B with CLG.

Still think MYM has better chances for 2nd in Group B, CJ looked very weak this month.
|
Dan, can you elaborate a little bit? I've not been following the Korean scene too much--what sorts of results have they been showing that makes you say they looked weak?

Except MVP White, they've lost to any mid- or top tier Korean team they've recently played - GSG and MVP Blue are arguably the weakest OGN LTC teams. They've lost playing standard, playing cheese comps and sometimes after throwing decent to huge leads.
I'm not convinced they're as bad as their recent results suggest - they're still highly skilled players on a mechanical level - but their strategies and in-game decisionmaking have been questionable. They rely too heavily on their jungler, and their toplane got stomped pretty much every game even on the only hero he plays at a great level, Jax. If MYM (or even Alternate, if they can finally break through their slump) can abuse this, they can advance, but I'd still give the edge to CJ Entus.

Why do these teams leave Anivia open...? Seriously think they can counter Froggen? @_@

mym is dumb, bad bad things happen when you don't give froggen any target bans
