There wasn't anything wrong with Kog pick.
They have a LOT really strong anti-assassin champs/skills. Janna is one of the best peelers in game. Udyr has repeatable stun. Galio and Kennen has amazing AoE disable ults. The biggest problem was that HSGG and Jiji rarely hit Akali with their ults, SV was just diving Dignitas's carries, and Janna alone can't hold off Akali by herself.
Scarra was really smart about staying really far out of range of fights until Galio/Kennen blew their ults then jumping in. CLG absolutely needed to hit Akali with their ultis and them not being able to do that lost them teamfights.

CLG had better picks imo. They just got outplayed straight up.
I'm glad Dignitas won, I hope to see Loci do some baller shit in the finals.
Also, pretty sure CLG practices more than any NA team now except for Dignitas. Like, TSM hasn't been practicing as much lately cause of their New York house and teams like EG don't get as much practice either. Dignitas and maybe Curse practice more than CLG but anyone who thinks CLG doesn't practice is just flat out wrong.
