All this lan experience is godly for saint. He's becoming the premiere NA jungler after IPL imo.

I dont know what you mean. Currently he is the most prominent and most respected Jungler in the world. Europe does not have such a quality jungler and asia, could not be seen enough in international tournaments to tell.

He's distancing himself from OddOne and unless Jatt does a series of amazing games, saint is sitting at the top of the Jungle throne by himself.

Ok the OddOne could be competition, but in my opinion they have different strenght in jungling and Saints style seems to be better in carrying games. But maybe thats just the fanboy in me speaking.

Be objective, not a fanboy. If saint plays like this game 1, he's in a tier by himself. OddOne and Jatt are still pretty good.

You are right i guess. The only thing that worries me though is that Saint and HSGG seem to be carrying CLG as they did at IEM guangzhou. And when HSGG or Saint had a bad game they would get stomped. :-/

NA has so many good junglers. I am really jealous ^-^

diaf. I'm objective. I know jiji is becoming the weaklink of CLG. Even Elementz is playing his support role better nowadays. Not Xpecial level yet but doesn't make glaring mistakes.

Saint's play mid-lategame was amazing, but WTF, why randomly burn summoners and gank a singed top and have the enemy team just take free dragon because you ganked top for no reason.

Chauster needs to pick it up then. I still think jiji is pretty rusty atm.

Edit: jiji and Elementz need to not do anything drastically negative for CLG and saint/HS can carry. saint really propped up jiji in game 1. Calimist did a number on jiji.

Jiji played pretty bad that game. Goose had a stronger bot lane, but Chauster outfarmed Vayne despite Vayne having the gold lead from dragon.

They knew it would be a hard lane for kennan so they tried to shut him down early, but it seemed to backfire.

Agree with this. Saint gives CLG a dimension that a lot of other teams just don't have. He gives CLG a legitimate threat out of the jungle. So often he becomes that third carry that teams always have to worry about.

Saint's big issue has always been that sometimes he overextends and gets caught. The classic "full retard" mode that sometimes gets CLG in trouble. It seems like Saint seems to not doing that as much and that's why he seems to be so beast lately.

Can you imagine the scarriest thing that could ever happen to LoL competitive play? All 5 CLG members performing at their best, at the same time. Holy fuck i wonder what that would look like ^-^.

pretty annoying how the commentator focused on galio after he'd ulted during teamfights, when kennen had ult on ><

*focused on hotshot would be more proper i suppose

Kennen vs Singed is a really good lane for Kennen (at least at earlier levels) but Jiji fucked that up by giving Singed FB with that towerdive

Recent tournaments make me so sad. I miss the days when jiji/Chauster win lane and carry hard. They're both not as relevant as Hotshot and saint anymore. I hope that once the tournies calm down the two of them can serious face and practice a fuck ton. Now that jiji has gotten his Kelly fix and I think Chauster is taking a break from school to focus on LoL the two of them have no excuse not to be the gods they once were.

saint MVP game 1, most kills for CLG iirc.

HSGG a champ though. Most farm with 0/0/18

But if singed already has a kill and a catalyst, ganking him top is not going to give you a kill unless he makes a large mistake. And ganking top when its impossible for you to get a kill or tower just means enemy can go for dragon and you only have 3 mid/bot.

Yiruru laughed at the Singed pick. Technically, Kennen and Galio should rape Singed. But Calimist did great.

To be honest i was live at that event and did not catch any LoL games. I had to watch Dota 2 the whole time just because of TobiWanKenobi.

I should look for vods from that.

IEM Cologne wasn't real CLG. Voyboy ringer. This is the first LAN in a while with true CLG.

Chauster needs to pick it up then. I still think jiji is pretty rusty atm.

Can you imagine the scarriest thing that could ever happen to LoL competitive play? All 5 CLG members performing at their best, at the same time. Holy fuck i wonder what that would look like ^-^.

So true, remember how godly Jiji and Chauster used to be. It seemed like they carried them all the time and people questioned the other members. These days it seems Hotshot and Saint are carrying the load and getting the headlines.

The thought of all of them at peak form is actually pretty scary.
