It's a real shitfest of bash posts in there. Don't read that thread. It's hard to not completely rage at the stupiditiy there. I always thought that LoL players covered a more retarded demographic than SC2 players. I was wrong. A great portion of SC2 fans consists of hypocritical elitist tryhards that pretend to be supporting ESPORTS when they are just giggling over the demise of international BW and get sensitive when it's mentioned that LoL has a bigger playerbase, a bigger viewerbase and bigger prizepools. On the other hand most LoL fans are also SC2 fans so they don't produce the same visible hatred for SC2. The worst part is that these narrow-minded SC2 fans cry when they are told that SC2 is an ezmode and dumbed down version of BW and is boring to watch, but on the other hand they are stubborn and ignorant enough to believe that SC2 alone is worthy of being called an ESPORT, or perhaps grudgingly, CS and some fighter games might be esports too due to the fact that they existed before these guys knew esports existed. The most important thing for an esport is that the game has to have a decent fanbase. The fact that LoL has one of the biggest fanbases of any game ever made already justifies it's existence as an esport more than 99% of other vying contenders.

Both communities have idiots, as the games got more popular idiots also became more prevalent. Back when BW was the main game before SC2 had been officially announced we had idiots too, they just weren't as visible because there weren't as many of them.

Gl countering a good akali with lee sin or garen ( i have never see this happen , prolly a myth )... esp garen both garen and lee sin have a joke of a late game power and from this tournament and iem lee sin just doesnt cut it , so much overhyped. Twice ive seen akali getting counter and it was from a great udyr and karthus- singed
