Realize your point is favouring what I said? Riot NA were the ones that fined them for committing an act that's against the TsC in Korea but they haven't fined people for committing the same infringements in NA. I said nothing about Riot KR banning those parties for doing things on NA.

on a slightly related note does anybody else have pretty consistent 130ish and 300+ ping periods these days? I thought it might have coincided with someone's arrival to stay at my place, but they're not downloading or seeding anything- for the last 2 weeks or so i lag pretty consistently in game (usually fine at start and sometime after game starts start lagging with a few periods of relief)

Yeah, can confirm the ping is real on NA.
Consistently a solid 300, sometimes get spikes of like 800. As early as 3 months ago I never went above 60.

People were saying that the last account sharing punishment in Korea was $2500 (individual fine) and 2 years ban. So, it almost sounds like Riot Korea put a big slap on them and Riot NA lessened the severity because they f'd up. Overall, they had to think there would be some punishment, but I doubt they thought it would be this severe. RIP OGN Dreams.

I just found out there is a girl streamer who was born without arms and plays league entirely with her feet. On a standard keyboard and mouse. I think she mains support, but plays a lot of Lee Sin. She is Gold 2.

Well I just dumpstered as Lucian. Their team had Lissandra, Zed, and Fiddle to dive/fuck me. Should I have gotten QSS instead of Banshee's? Probably I should have, but too many actives...I realize how bad at ADC I am. Should also figure out what to not die better...

Cuz they way the report reads, despite Riot's efforts, it certainly seems like Riot was playing dirty.
On the day prior to their departure, CLG management requested live accounts from Riot.
Implies that CLG management hadn't been requesting live accounts previous to that and implies that CLG hadn't already been promised live accounts. They probably were.
Recognizing our error and CLG’s urgent practice needs in Korea, we provided CLG with provisional TR accounts within 24 hours of their landing as a temporary measure for practicing while the error was corrected.
So the request was made 24 hours prior to the flight, then there were ~12 hours travel, and they were provided within 24 hours of landing... It took 60 hours for Riot to provide the wrong accounts.
During this time, it was brought to our attention that members of CLG were engaging in illicit account sharing despite having a legitimate practice option pending in the provisional TR accounts while also being aware that such an action was against the rules.
So CLG had been requesting live accounts for who knows how long. They'd been in Korea for up to 24 hours sitting on their asses. They preferred live accounts the whole time, so presumably their practice options with TR accounts aren't as good. I'd assume they'd want to play a few solo queue games after landing before going straight into scrimming. They probably figured they can scrim with the TR accounts that are coming soon (they didn't know they'd be within 24 hours) but in the meantime they'd get their feet under them with some solo queue games and maybe not waste their trip if the TR accounts never come.
After the correct policy was ascertained, Riot granted CLG official live accounts and retracted the TR accounts in accordance with standing Riot policy.
At the very latest, CLG requested those accounts a day before their flight, so we're back to 60+ hours here (TR accounts within 60 hours, TR accounts retracted and replaced with live accounts after that). There's no explanation from Riot why determining policy and providing accounts is taking them so long. Even under their bullshit condensed timeline, as if they didn't know CLG needed accounts for their trip to Korea until 24 hours before their flight, they still acted unreasonably slowly.
Given that Riot's shitty report allows for me to fill the gaps however I want, my report says "We left them out to dry in Korea. They decided to break the rules to get some practice so they can perform better in our league, etc, which provided us a legal justification for punishing them, since we're mad about them skipping superweek, and then we gave them the accounts they needed."
