I don't think Triforce is too strong.
I think it's just back to what it was in S2 where it was strong for certain champions and not for others. I think a lot of the people blindly building it atm are just doing inefficient builds, like how we saw BotRK on every single champion ever when it came out.
It's good on Ez and Corki, and Nasus, and Lucian etc. But I'm not convinced with all the Triforce Nidalee's and such I'm seeing these days.

release (after the first rework that added daggers) botrk was that OP lol.
people still building it blindly on every champion now is what irks me.

The live version is pretty situational on every champion not named vayne.

Twitch botrk is for pick comps, team fight comps it's not ideal, Trist with a large lead, again not ideal, I actually don't like the item in any way on Kog but honestly I just feel like Kog is pretty bad vs popular (map wide) picks at the moment so I haven't even thought about him much.
situational =/= not good.

Meh, IE first on Trist is way more situational than BotRK (as a first item). Also pretty hard for Trist to get a "large lead", considering how her early game works.

it's a shit 6 slot item on Trist that much is true, but [it helps you in] getting to 6 slot w/o being behind on Trist w/o depending on some luck.

the fact that both options exist and are legit, means situational, unless they aren't mutually exclusive which they are, if you don't go botrk first on trist you shouldn't buy it at all. If it's 50/50 or 20/80 it does not matter, all that matters is the exclusivity.
basic English pls.

Botrk on trist is more of a snowballing and a laning item. Trist actually has good early game all in potential and with botrk it pretty much seals the deal.

I finally learned how to do the auto-cougar-Q thing and holy crap its broken as hell. A 100 damage auto turns into like 500 damage.

Do you not know how % hp work? lol, it works best early game, when there's no armor. 5%hp still takes same number of shots, no matter how much hp they have (Assuming armor is same).

BotRK isn't the bad item on Trist, PD is.
21 offense, BotRK and rank 5 Q gives her exactly 2.5 ASPD at 18.
Few months ago I did some Tristana math, the highest damage 4 item combo for Trist is actually BotRK, IE, LW, Ghostblade. Use the ghostblade active as soon as Q drops.
