Just curious, do you run 1/21/8 specifically for melee supports or ranged as well? I can't answer for melee supports(rarely play them in ranked). Playing with ranged supports with 0/9/21 masteries, I'm currently favouring GP5 over the HP Quints slightly. My reasoning is that I've felt a difference in the amount of wards I can purchase (I previously ran 1 GP Quint only), especially when playing from behind where the extra HP won't be as "efficient" at helping me back into the game. I also find bottom lanes have too many variables affecting the outcome of the lane Eg. how well enemy and your ad is positioning, landing CC, how your AD wants to play the lane, where your not 100% in control of how aggressive you can be in lane. There are definitely benefits of running HP quints (I feel they are great if you know there will be heavy trading early) or if your confident that you and your AD can outplay the enemy bottom lane early to secure an advantage. For me, the average AD player in solo que is not one I can comfortably say we can obtain an significant advantage from HP quints. If you're playing support along with an AD you know, I can definitely see much more advantages gained from using the quints. | ||

dunno I just saw peke mention it on twitter that they were going to practice with TSM, because yesterday someone asked how the teams manage themselves over the next few weeks. | ||

Both quints work, it depends on how aggressive you wanna be. If you're playing passive gp10 is better, if u wanna go balls deep hp is best. | ||
