TL LoL GD Thread, where you can discuss the mathematics between getting a BotRK over a BT on certain champs and the amazing prices of Costco liquor in the same place.

Vodka imo is the hardestto tell between, especially when chilled. Last year I bought a bottle of GG and a bottle of Kirkland and there wasn't much if any difference, it's hard to tell if any perceived difference (GG slightly smoother in blind tastings) was real or illusory. I've heard that Kirkland is GG but filtered a couple times less perhaps. Vodka is harder than all other alcohols imo because of the lack, or incredible subtlety of variations in taste.
Main point is, Kirkland brand almost anything is amazing 'bang for buck'.

Annie is hilarious. I played a game with minimum 250 ping, and very often 500+ ping and basically watching a powerpoint presentation. Pick up kills anyway since I have no skillshots and just dump my rotation and die, but team cleans up since their own team is stunned.

The thing about theorycrafting is, unless it's completely or almost completely math based it just doesn't work on an open forum, because no one does nor most of the time should take the experience of others seriously.

Grey goose isn't even good, it's just a well marketed and inflated brand

These past two pages have pretty much convinced me I need to go check out costco. I hope wine prices are cheap!

Costco's wine isn't 'cheap' (well, not as cheap as other places can be), you get decent 'bang for buck', but you can finder cheaper, and just as enjoyable wines elsewhere. At Von's in Cali there was a palatable cab sav for $5 a bottle, and here at Aldi's in cleveland their cab sav is perfectly tolerable. That being said, it may take a bunch of trial and error to actually find something you like with cheaper options, whereas Costco has a much higher base level of quality imo.
@gtr - yeah, there are better vodkas than GG for sure. But when compared to market standards like smirnoff or absolut, kirkland brand blows them away in value and quality.

Here in BC liquor can't be purchased from anywhere except licensed liquor stores, so I haven't had much opportunity to purchase Costco brand. If they have even a bad single malt for less than $40, it would be worth the trip for me. I'm still living off of a $65 bottle of 15yo Glenfiddich I purchased from duty free last week.

They don't sell it at my local here in cleveland, but back in Cali they had a really nice i think it was 21 yr old for around $60. Personally I liked it more than glenfiddich 15yo, as did my brother who is far more into scotch than I am. I'm not from the states, so I don't know what BC stands for / where it is, but here in Cleveland, Ohio it's bible belt territory, so they can only sell liqour at state approved agencies. Accordingly, the Costco isn't allowed to sell anything over 20% (e.g. malibu, kahlua). It may or may not be the same in your neck of the woods, it would definitely pay to check before heading in.

Woo, Cleveland area represent. Yay shitty liquor laws.

Why do no decent wines come in anything but bottles? Its not like you can't get handles/kegs/cases of any other midlevel booze. But wine makers all say "we hate customers"
