I volunteer to write a Shaco guide. And Syndra once I start playing her again.

If you have a particular champion thread that hasn't been updated in a while and you'd really like to own it right now, we can arrange for you to take over. Yeah, we did that with the Amumu thread, the one champion I would be comfortable taking over is Skarner but yeah for him the jungle changes will be ...gamechanging... (get it?). Idk, can you tell me more maybe? :D I would be kinda interested to work on that sort of thing.

Is there an ELO minimum to helping out with the guides? I would like to do some work on the Nasus thread but I am pretty low ELO. I understand if there was a minimum rank or something like that for doing these threads.
Then again Nasus is a pretty straight forward champ and better players could always correct if they wanted to.

If it hasn't been updated in a long time(anivia thread was over a year old when I remade) it's fine. People usually chime in anyways to drop their opinions.

You need to fill in an application form attaching a CV with it and then we'll conduct a phone interview. After considering your relevant experience and if you pass several online tests, we'll invite you for a face-to-face interview and conduct psychometric testing. If that goes well, we'll then place you on probation and then if that's all good we'll then hire you.
You basically just PM one of the LoL Staff about which thread you want to take over lol.

I don't think we should have guides in the OP anyway. Nobody cares about updating them and they're typically pretty shitty, especially if the thread was made when the champion was new. We don't have that many people who are really good and I don't want guides written by mediocre/awful players to be the kind of content we give prominence on the subforum.
If you read the threads people are always coming in and posting mini-guides anyway, when I pop into a champ thread those are what I look at unless the thread is both recently updated and written by one of very few people.

Dunno why, on this connection I can watch 720p streams np but got 200 ping on LoL. Only noticed it once in game. God, it's so hard to kite as Ashe, and so easy to miss her ults with that.

Executioner's Calling does not counter Vlad at all.

This may work for you, but Neo has specifically stated his desire to see the LoL subforum grow. Anyone who is newer and looking for a champ guide isn't going to be able to sift through old pages to find guides, they will just look to the OP.
I see what you mean, though. I don't think they need to be amazing productions, but a lot of the older guides really don't make much sense given how much the game has changed.

Unrelated but amusing, I just gave my younger brother who's only played League(poorly) Dota2 because valve keeps sending me more invites to friends. I've given him little to know introduction other then "It's like league but harder" and a link to some basic guides. Am I a terrible sibling?

Then again Nasus is a pretty straight forward champ and better players could always correct if they wanted to. Well, being low elo makes it way more difficult because you can't really filter out suggestions effectively (not all suggestions are made equal). And also while you might think you can play Nasus well for example, it might not necessarily be the case and the style you play with might be unviable at higher elo. So there could be problems with the original stuff you put in the guide as well. Generally I'd say that it's better to leave the job to someone else, you can always help out a lot by either giving suggestions or, especially, by doing grammar/readibility checks. <-------- only my opinion
vvvvvv I am probably like 2300+ amumu and skarner and like 1900 everything else.

I think that for low elo people the gap between their "good" champs and their "bad" champs is larger than high elo players. For example, while leveling up I played mostly Rammus and I was like 300-elo better with him than i was with anyone else. Low elo just means you probably don't have the game sense to be an expert on many champions, but if you've got a couple hundred games on a dude, I'd probably take your word for what works and what doesnt

Why is dynamic still a "pro" team. All they ever seem to do is lose unimpressively against other mediocre NA teams.
