the not-tasteless guy is very slow and fails to answer tasteless questions in the right way. He doesnt get his points across, even though apparently knows how to play LoL.
tasteless is clueless, but he knows how to cast and he also actually asks the right questions for people who are new to LoL.
example: tasteless asked how bad it is when a turret gets in range of creeps. what the guy said was "yeah, its hard to lasthit sometimes". what he should have said its something like: well, the pros know how to lasthit creeps under the turret, but they still want to keep the creeps away from the turret because the turret damage will push the wave back and you want to have the enemy as close to your turret as possible for easier ganks and safer laning.

Tasteless knows how to cast, asking questions, talking about things while the other guys is a bit slow to get his points though. To an extent where he never finishes his points because something else comes up. It's starting to irritate me. Tasteless is clueless but too professional to make any huge mistakes. Some of his questions are not...very relevant. Like asking who has the best ward domination at 3 mins. I dont know, the questions is not bad, just not...what you normally focus on this early. Tasteless is asking the kinds of questions that...well, a novice who's watched some pro matches and played just a little bit online would ask. It's what you'd expect, really. It's like he read the cliff's notes to pro-level League and started to cast. I think he's doing fine right now, all things considered.
The only thing getting to me a little bit is that they are both trying to talk in the middle of the fights -- the one guy (sorry wasn't on early enough to catch his name) because he knows he's carrying the knowledge, and Tasteless because....well that's what he does. They would just need some time together and they'd be fine I think. "The other guy" needs to step back and take the Artosis role of providing strategy commentary or picking out the cool micro tricks that were performed.

Who is the non-Tasteless guy?

All casters atm are behind the curve in terms of technical knowledge. I think this is something that can only be solved with time. DotA and SC have an advantage from their longer history and the number of ex-pros who transitioned to casting (Synderen, Day[9], Tasteless, Artosis, Apollo, etc.)

Yeah, ArcticFox said it better than me. Someone tweet Tasteless and make them agree on who should talk during intense action.

But uhm!
Would it be frowned upon to like the vid from HIMYM with all the but uhms?

I totally agree. We already saw that Jatt did way better as a caster because he transitioned from pro to caster. A true analytical caster hasn't really stepped up yet in LoL, but I have confidence that one will arise.
Deman is a bit of an outlier, but that guy does well because he already had plenty of experience casting, like Joe Miller.
I'll also have to agree that Tasteless is doing really well. He's asking exactly the right questions to find out the information that needs to be given to the viewers. His experience as a caster really is showing.

Oh my god non-Tasteless guy please stop trying to play-by-play in fights... it's so painful to listen to. Can't hear the passion or excitement at all. It's like someone forced him to do this with a whip. :[

lol the casting is so terrible. But I love tasteless ^^ as soon as he learns some LoL and gets a good co-caster shit's gonna turn golden

Really unclean play but at least Koreans are fucking exciting to watch, haha.

i changed my mind, the non tasteless guy actually doesnt know that much about the game it seems, should be replaced by someone else since tasteless needs a an analytical guy with good knowledge on his side.
|
This casting is pretty silly, someone needs to lay down the law on who gets to do the action and who fills the down time. Right now it's just tasteless and the other guy trying to talk over each other
Gom should have just contracted locodoco to colour. Ez pz best cast ever.

baron worth 6k gold uhhm huge objective uuhm

That non-Tasteless guy sounds so bored, gosh.

Just tuned in and wow, what kind of comp does have Blaze ? It's like almost only magic damage...

I go back and forth, I can't tell if he's clueless or just inexperienced/nervous. The casting of that teamfight was atrocious though. "Oh....ew....uh....oh no...." He sounded like a guy who was watching someone fall off a cliff and making a sound every time he hit a rock on the way down.
