So I played Vayne a lot during my first 20~30 games of ranked and lost a lot of games. We all know Vayne has crappy laning / early game phase, so even if you do well, you really can't explode onto the enemy team and start massacring them until late game. Crap teammates means your game ends before late game. I also chose to play her when I didn't get proper supports so that didn't help either.

Either way, I lost a lot of ELO and went down to 1000s. I've managed to get it back up by playing champs like Fizz that let me take-over the game before late game hits so I can carry bad teammates.

I noticed that everytime I win/lose a game, it's about plus or minus 11~13 elo

I'm currently sitting at 1178 elo with 91 wins and 84 losses. I consider myself way more skilled than the ELO I'm at.

So my question is, if I start winning more games, will my elo gain / loss change? Lets pretend I won the next 10 games in a row. Will I be gaining the same amount forever?

What kind of tips can I get to get out of ELO hell? I get so many games where I carry my team but some idiots on my team make us lose. For example, one game, my bad teammates started feeding but I was able to snipe out enemy adc / mid constantly and keep them in check. I finally help turn the tide of the team and we start winning, we get baron, we break inhib, etc. Finally, in one crucial end game team fight, our non-English speaking malphite wasn't with us for that teamfight. Him being our only tank, we had to 4v5 without him and lost. Constantly telling him to stick together, he never speaks a single word and we lose.

Anyway, help me get out of this ELO hell!

No, unlike Sc2 your Hidden MMR = Showed MMR, and is unaffected by win streaks. going 20-10 is same as going 10-0.

League is liike chess, except you only get to control 1 piece.

Elo hell doesn't exist~ the game rewards snowballing and playing risky, way more than play consistent/conservatively.

I wouldn't recommend playing AD at low ELO.
You only get clueless idiots as supps, who get forced to play it by being last pick and it shows. 1v2 lanes are not so funny

Even playing support yourself will bring you better results.

Take it from a guy that smurfs. Which is me.

Playing AD is fine, so long as you're playing AD's that have really strong laning phase. Cait is probably one of the best low elo ad carries to play, because you can simply exploit the range + harass, without worrying about what your support is doing.

I'd sign that for anything below 1100. Nearing the 1200, the opposing AD is probably not skilled at all, but they know how to not die 5 times in a row to your ranged harass (which is what makes her good at 1100ish). And Cait is comparably weak after her strong early levels (pre 6) and before her 5/6 item endgame built.

If you want to play AD at that ELO, pick Corki or Graves, they are much better to carry with because they have presence in the mid game and can dominate lanes pretty hard, too.

only way imo to get out of elo hell (in which i am too) is to play a solo lane and do the best you can to carry your team if you rely on other players to carry you most likely going to lose because they are incompetent, so don't go support or jungle if you can, that's just what i do and i win mostly if i can carry well even if the rest of the team is not too good...

Corki maybe, Graves not so much, though I agree graves is dominant, his short range makes him vulnerable to harass, and without a decent support to mitigate damage, graves can end up having a hard time in lane.

Ez and MF are another great choice at AD carries that don't need supports as well.

Don't die, don't flame.

I also don't agree with this:

I always tried to snowball my lane and make plays. The moment i started to play safe I went from ~1300 to ~1700 in a week.
are they lost forever?

Boots of mobility junglestar ganking every lane all the time, this is what I´ve been trying lately with decent success. It´s quite amazing how fast top laners will give up/troll/ play recklessly if you camp them.

Play more games. That's it. Play safe, don't give up stupid kills ever and you'll go up. I was that low for quite some time, played more games and improved.

If you're truly better and play a lot of games you'll move up. Some people make terrible decisions at that level and you may not. But, unless you're truly crushing your lane or feeding lanes hard from jungle you're not any better than your elo.

At sub 1200 elo people actually make an incredible amount of mistakes during laning. Also somewhere low down you need to start farming champions rather than creeps(both is ideal) in order to carry, because chances are both sides are going to be a slaugherfest.

I'm just gonna try to avoid support/adc all together. I feel like I can make the most difference at mid because 1) I can dominate my lane 99% of the time 2) Its between top / bot so I can help out gank if my teammate does bad

Since I'm really close to 1200 now, I'm getting scared. Most people who start ranked start at 1200 right? That means I'm gonna get paired up with them =(

According to everything Riot has said recently, this is no longer true.
Players who are still playing their placement games are supposed ot be placed into a separate category of matchmaking affectionately known as 'newbie island,' so you shouldn't be matched up with them.

Yes, but you'll still get guys with a very low number of wins.

Either they just finished placements or even worse they may have won most placements accidentally by being carried. Sometimes it's very frustrating.

But just think, there's a higher % chance of them being on the other team than on your own team.

If you're stuck in elo hell, you're part of elo hell... Stop blaming others and learn to improve. You're your own worst enemy.
