It was a comp designed to counter what Azubu does, which is take early towers + map control. Singed + TF split push, shaco for jungle control, and leblanc to win mid. Their one weakness is that all these champs suck lategame and so they had a hard time window to win. | ||

I think they could have won but in both games they completely failed in team fights. In the first game they still won some of them but whenever it mattered in either game, one of them messed up and threw the fight. | ||

The thing is that Azubus strategy is something done by the players not forced on them by there champions. They have a team that can work well lategame but is also able to push towers fast. While Storm had a team that could win early but could never win late. | ||

The strategy is so flawed. When you do not have an AD carry (and bruiser in this case) you automatically lose the game by the 40th minute. They were counting the entire game on some sort of crazy Blitzcrank grab that somehow kills the Graves and then they somehow push so amazingly fast to victory. Sure, TF has a Lich Bane, but that's not enough to take down turrets fast by any measure. So yea, I think they threw it hard. | ||

Edit: I also think it's more appropriate to say Xenics left shaco to get first blooded (and impact's poor item choice). Not nolja's fault imo. | ||

And lichbane TF can take out turrets quite fine, they weren't lacking in turret pressure, they were lacking in sustained damage for teamfights. Maybe their strategy was reliant on assassinating Jack every fight, so both teams had to fight without an AD carry? Even then, they had no physical damage apart from Shaco. (PAC turns your autoattack, including lichbane damage, to magic damage, so the only phys damage there is from the lichbane autoattack after wildcard.) But yeah that bot lane was WAY too reliant on Grab + CC Combo from Blitz + Gold Card and Lostboy was able to just deny that from EVER happening. Though it was pretty funny/scary when leblanc just walked up and double killed them. | ||

I think the main idea in the strategy was having shaco and singed pushing top and bot simultaneous forcing azubu to send 2-3 players to deal with them and thus having LeBlanc and TF catching someone off guard, allowing for easy pick-ups and the ability to suddenly be at a greater advantage forcing the pushes much more drastic and then go for minor objectives such as blue/red/drake. | ||
