I fail to see what Janna provides Galio though. Bubble does nothing to help Galio farm, perhaps save some hp from enemy harassment. In that case, Taric does a better job with a stun and heal.

The only time I bubbled him was for Zilean bombs, otherwise I bubbled myself and harassed the other team, thus his excitement about getting farm(rare is the champion that I won't last hit whore on, Janna... Janna... and... umm... ya).

ahaha, then it's Galio that's making the lane ghey, I don't see where Janna comes into play since Janna's partner isn't physical. ;o Oh well.

Janna doesn't need a physical partner to be gay in lane.. her shield adds the same amount of AD whether it's her using it or not. Now obviously someone like Ezreal who has an AD scaling skill can do more than just auto attack with it... but it's not like the skill is useless without a carry next to her.

No one's arguing that Janna isn't gay. But it's kind of a waste for one of bubble's traits to be cast on a hero that is relatively bad at auto attack harassing enemy champions. With the +AD aspect rather negligible on Galio, it's a comparison between a heal (let's say Taric's Q) vs damage prevented (bubble).

Janna makes a lane really gay because she boosts her ally's DPS and sustainability to irritating levels. Galio can't make the best use of what Janna has to offer. Thus I'm saying Galio (who is already annoying) could be better paired with another ally that more complementary, like Taric.

if you want complementary support, morgana's better. you can pretty much 4 shot people in a Galio + Morgana lane at level 2 if Morgana lands her pool -> binding. like, having no range with the poor damage output of Galio + Taric isn't really going to do anyone any good (not to mention shatter has the exact same anti-synergy you're talking about with janna).

Dazzle + Shatter + Galio's E/Q, it's a good amount of harassment burst early on. But I'll concede that it drops off rather quickly since most Taric's level Q as the primary, compared to Morg's W.

Shatter itself doesn't mean Galio and Taric suffer fromt anti-synergy (not making the most of the two's potential) like Galio and Janna. Shatter provides Armor, which most Galios neglect early on and it's one additional damage spell for their team.

However, the biggest component of what makes a team gay at bottom is their potential to harass, which leads to zoning, causing the enemy pair to lose out on both experience and gold. In that case, Morg does do everything better in a lane than Janna or Taric.

I think the biggest thing that bothers me about having Morg in the duo lane is that unlike Janna/Sona/Taric it does her a considerable amount of good to have some farm to work with. The 3 other supports basically can get away with letting their lane-mate having every last-hit. So unless Morg's lane-mate also doesn't really need the farm to do well (like Garen), having her duo in a lane with a farm-dependent champion feels more awkward than having Janna/Sona/Taric.
