In my games, you're typical support will end up with 10-20 cs in a <25 minute game and like 20-40 in really long games. Under these circumstances, having Gold/5 quints, greed, and 1 or 2 fast Gold/5 Items is an absolute necessity IMO. Basically, any time I play with Clairvoyance, I run MPen/Armor/MRes/GOLDp5, 0/9/21, open fairy charm + 3 pots + ward, rush 1 philostone and 1 HoG or Kage's at least, regardless of character. This might be really ineffective at low elo play where CS would be missed out on, but again, in the game's I play, this is support as we know it. Typically you'll lane with a singed/Malph/Nasus/Shen and your lanemate will have comparable CS to all the solo lanes if you're doing your job right. Thanks for the clarification. I've only recently realized the role a support is supposed to play in a game as I still mostly pay normals, so I suppose I am still susceptible to a lot of misconception. I refuse to hit up ranked games again until I am +50 W/L...I figure I'll have enough experience then to be decent enough to hit 1300 maybe :D | ||
