Right now it's: Fiendish Codex (1245g) + Blasting Wand (860g) + 245g for a gain of 5 AP, 2 MP/5 and 5% CDR. For another 260g, you can trade 15 AP and 2 MP5 for DFG's active, which is generally a lot more useful (and Kage's creates gold while you're building it). Since the two items are so similar, I think it would be wise for Riot to change Morello's to build out of Amplifying Tome instead, and turn it into a caster version of Wriggles' Lantern. A build cost of something like: Fiendish Codex (1245g) + Amplifying Tome (435g) + 245g = 65 AP / 12 Mp5 / 15% CDR + Ward would be a nice, efficient item which allowed AP characters to give some ward coverage the way AD characters have the option. I don't know why Riot would create such a similar item when there's a nice-sized hole that could have been built into, instead. | ||
