Of course you would. Becuase you're a moron. Teasing someone for their sexuality is the same as teasing someone for their skin color, hair color, height, and any other inherent trait. It's a process we all went through, and we are better for it. Yeah, kids get picked on. It sucks. The duty of the teachers and the principal is to protect the students and act in a fair and impartial manner. They failed the gays here, not out of incompetence but deliberately. | ||

I know you've gone right wing and crazy (Stimey much?) lately, but are you fucking serious? "Everyone gets picked on" isn't a valid reason for school officials to not stop abuse. Surely you can admit that the job of school administration is to create a decent learning environment and protect the students who go to their school. It's a public institution, and parents don't send children to school to learn to be "thick skinned in the real world," especially since in the real world people who physically abuse others are sent to prison. What you probably mean to say is that you're tired of frivolous lawsuits in general, and that might often be the case but here it's not, and I think you're being a contrarian just for the sake of being one. | ||
