Recently for our prom night I realised that I didn't know how to tie a bloody tie. 30 minutes on Youtube obviously didn't cut it, so I had to get a friend to do it, 'cause my dad couldn't do it either. The vast majority of my class couldn't do it either, in fact only 2 boys and 1 girl where able to properly tie a tie. I've been practicing on and off since then (a week or so ago) and know I can finally do it so it looks decent. I can only tie one knot though (double windsor) and it still takes a few tries to get it acceptable, but it makes you feel a little more mature to be able to tie a tie.
Now my question is: how many teamliquidians can tie a tie?
Poll: Can you tie a tie? (Vote): Of course! (Vote): Nope, unable to do so..

I've had to wear a tie a few times and I still don't remember how to do it. I forget it everytime I learn it.

Of course! I'm the tie guy for most of my friends. Half windsor ftw.

yup i only know 2 different ways though (don't know the names but they're the most common ones i'd imagine) i learned during frosh week (one of my faculties' symbol is a pink tie)
i know like 10 different ways to wear a scarf which is somewhat related (euro loop ftw)

Of course! I only know a few simple variants though, but of course I'm able to do it!
This poll should be restricted to people over 19/20 or something though. No reason to be able to if ur younger

Some school events do actually call for wearing a tie, as for me, I just get someone else to do it.

takes me some time, but yes :> Military training did some good, I guess

Nope! For some reason all of my friends know (or claim!) to be able to tie a tie, including my younger sister, mom and dad.
I'm not very fond of ties and I never wear them unless I absolutely have to.

I don't wear them any more but I still remember how to tie them and sometimes I tie my scarves like a tie for fun. Wish I had known how to go to prom though...

No. I own a single tie and I leave it tied. It's completely ruined from this.

haha, noob. Your lone tie probably has creases galore.

yeah I play a decent number of concerts and my band director always wanted us to wear a suit and a tie
since high school I haven't worn one though. Thank god, those things are annoying

no, but I almost never wear ties, so it doesnt bother me.
