Given an entire day to play the game anyone good at gaming could easily do better than all of them that failed at the 4th stage. I dunno, these are all around gamers but you have to remember they all have specialties and afaik no-one was a VF5 champ. According to Geoff that 4th player was a beezy. Also, I hear that they were allowed 2 warm-up matches, and that the cpu player in VF5 actually learns your play style after a few rounds, so that made it even harder. They have some pretty impressive resumes...I would doubt that most of them failing on round 4 was a coincidence.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't watch it typically, just because of how the media misconstrues things... the entertainment becomes a bit sour for me... but the fact that 3 people (maybe more?) are commenting with first hand experience ? It becomes a lot more enjoyable haha. Cheering for you guys. :D

I have to say, the drama makes me laugh. Half of these people seem completely socially inept, they talk as much shit as people do online like it's no different to say it to someone's face. I don't possibly understand how Swoozie and Jamal, "professional" fighting gamers, did as poorly or worse in a fighting game than people who have played for like a day... And I find it pathetic that they are judging who's the best "gamer" by who can break boards (half of which were just knocked out of place, not broken), and who can do the best against an AI opponent. If there wasn't the money involved I'd bet the cast members themselves would be ridiculing the show too. Lol @ Kelly throwing Geoff's hat. "I really hope we can play on X-Box Live together." ... or you could go out for dinner? Oh reality TV. Best of luck, inControl, you represent articulate, mannered gamers well and I hope there is something you'll excel at. Maybe they'll judge who the best StarCraft player is by who can beat the most computers at once... =p

Nobody plays that stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if their best players are terrible. 2) who knows to what extent this stuff is faked

Most gamers, even the ones who cause tons of drama, are completely tightlipped at LAN tourneys. They had to find people stupid/socially inept enough to talk shit in real life, especially to someone like Inc.I have to say, the drama makes me laugh. Half of these people seem completely socially inept, they talk as much shit as people do online like it's no different to say it to someone's face. I don't possibly understand how Swoozie and Jamal, "professional" fighting gamers, did as poorly or worse in a fighting game than people who have played for like a day... My guess is that it's because they were training for a human opponent. Playing the AI is quite different from another person and they probably would've learned how to exploit it in a BO5, but not in just two rounds like Dante did. Plus a lot of AIs are usually bullshit with instant reactions, aimbots, etc. Either that or DoA4 really is a kiddie fighter compared to VF5.BTW, I guess they almost got clowN on the show, but his CGS contract wouldn't let him go. Source is at least a huge step up over Rainbow 6 or starting a clan. :x It would've been fucking amazing if they could've gotten NightFaLL on the show. Not only is he at the top echelon of shit talking morons, but he also pretends to be a gym rat, when he's 300+++ with high body fat %. I'd love to see Inc put him in his place.

+ Show Spoiler + It just looks like this show was just made so that people can laugh at these guys and say "haha what geeks", they just took people that fit the sterotype of what they thought gamers would be like and its so bad, their just giving people that play games a bad reputation Inc was goooooood though, was the only one that didnt act like a retard
