In WWI we tipped the scales, we got there after Russia had left the war and Germany was only fighting on one front. We drafted a 4 million man army to break a stalemate. We were necessary for the Victory in WWI.
In WW2 we greatly assisted the allies with the lend-lease act in order to supply Russia and Britain with equipment they needed. We kept Britain in the war by also making sure that the Islands could bring in supplies. And all of you guys seem to be ignoring Japan. We singlehandedly defeated Japan because Russia had a non-aggression treaty with them until 1945. Russia did absolutely nothing to help us with Japan. Russia also tried to have a non-aggression treaty with Germany, but was betrayed.
Russia did the most on the Western front, but we helped fund their war effort. We singlehandedly handled the Eastern front.
It is not just now that USA has the largest economy in the world. We had the largest economy then as well.
But I don't think everyone has to bow down to us until the end of time because of how necessary it was for us to join the war. I think you mixed up the Eastern and Western fronts. And the western front (I assume this was what you meant) wasn't singlehandedly handled by the US, it was a joint effort by troops from Britain, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and numerous other former British colonies. Although admittedly the vast majority of the military hardware that was shipped onto mainland Europe was American. I did mix it all up. I labeled Japan the eastern front and Europe the western front. If it were from Russia's point of view thats how I would expect it to be labeled. And I would not mind that label because the Russians were the only ones fighting in the West on a very large scale until D-Day. The number of German troops in Africa was small compared to what they sent against Russia. But I don't think UK did nothing, but its not like Egypt is west of eastern Europe. I meant that we singlehandedly handled Japan. We did not singlehandedly handle Africa and Western Europe. But a British dude pointed out to me years ago how much more German troops were fighting Russia then were fighting UK and America. Of course, Russia could focus entirely on one front. But if you completely ignore Japan thats pretty Eurocentric. Japan could have probably broken their armistice with Russia if they had not been fighting us, just as Germany broke their promise. Thanks for clarifying, that makes a lot more sense, I guess I'm really used to looking at it from a British point of view. You're correct Japan was taken down very effectively even though more than 80% of the US war effort was heading to Europe. But for the most part Russia's part in the war is overlooked (the Germans suffered FAR higher casualties to the USSR than to the UK and US combined).

That looks pretty good, soup with lobster mmmm

In Russia beer isn't considered an alcoholic substance, because it has a lower proof than wine (yes I know it doesn't make sense). Consequence? Kids get out for recess, walk across the street to a kiosk, buy beer and get drunk, and then go back to school all fucked up. Moscow has had the highest beer per capita consumption in the past few years, I think.
Yes, this is a GOOD thing <3

The United States Supreme Court will likely rule in favor of the Second Amendment in D.C. vs. Heller. I can't wait to see that little cuntbag Paul Helmke crying about it. What a fucking tyrant.

You can't use numbers like that, that isn't the whole story. But yeah, Russia did a lot. America turtled on island and teched to nukes. Also, some drop harass.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find any other city with nearly as much food diversity. How many other cities have deep fried turkeys and gourmet cup cakes/donuts?
Oh, about that obesity thing...

Yes yes, team effort. Go Allies. But not our continent, so it's a much bigger deal.
This thread should be changed to "Food of your countries". I'm sick of seeing the euphemistic optimal narrow views people carry with their nationalism lol

So by no means was US involvement a charity but rather an effort to save its own ass.
