But if you completely ignore Japan thats pretty Eurocentric. Japan could have probably broken their armistice with Russia if they had not been fighting us, just as Germany broke their promise. Thanks for clarifying, that makes a lot more sense, I guess I'm really used to looking at it from a British point of view. You're correct Japan was taken down very effectively even though more than 80% of the US war effort was heading to Europe. But for the most part Russia's part in the war is overlooked (the Germans suffered FAR higher casualties to the USSR than to the UK and US combined). | ||
