I think it's unfair that all the other people who have spent time entering & shooting photos have basically wasted their time: yet another competition boils down to who you know NOT how good your entry was.
It sucks.
This is a fact of life, you should know this coming into anything. Getting a new career, politicians, finding a discount/deal at your local store, etc. ITS ALWAYS WHO YOU KNOW more so than what you know or what you do.
This was by no means 'rigged' although many people say/use it jokingly as an anecdotal reference. What we mean is that almost any poll we are involved in we usually win it, not because we cheated or anything but because there are so many people here with the same or similar ideals, tastes, etc.
Just so you know I think you were second hottest but just based on those 2 pictures (of you and her) I voted for her, I didn't even consider voting for her 'just because'. I voted for who I liked the most, and I did look through all the pictures. And like some other people already mentioned most of the people on there are ugly and stand no chance regardless if we came into play here.
My advice to you, go around the internet and forums and post 'VOTE FOR ME!'. That should balance the scales a bit. Or even better just post the contest and say 'VOTE FOR THE BEST!' if you want to be fair.
And just for the record I really dig goth chicks or any 'non normal' looking chicks that have their own sense of style and freedom (like rockabilly or whatever). Tats and piercings are always hot too, just don't overdo it.
Oh and, Here (I don't mean to be offensive but this is the internet, I just say whatever I want here for the most part):
