If you ever do end up choosing a hair style you like (hopefully from an actual hair styling site that gives examples and different angle views and key notes on cutting it, and not from a starcraft website or korean pop star website edit2: I do have to admit that this doesn't ALWAYS apply, for obvious reasons. Sometimes pop stars have some easily attainable hair, I was just trying to get the fact across that sometimes it won't turn out as well for more advanced styles because of the reasons already listed as well as others), you have to also consider certain things. The shape of your head (as discussed previously in this thread), the type of cohesive used (gel, wax, pomade, clay?), it's limitations (how long can it be before it goes out of whack), etc. This is all if you're just genuinely serious about it, otherwise you can just probably trust any good hairstylist to do something that more or less fits you well. edit: as for a site that's good, www.bombhead.com/hairshop.htm is pretty decent. I tend to look at Japanese websites (bombhead is Koeran. There are subtle, noticeable differences in both "trendy" Korean and Japanese hairstylings) I'm on my secondary comp atm so I don't have the links I usually use for Japanese styles. Not to mention if you live by a little tokyo or something, you can probably buy magazines that focus on men's hair style + fashion (there are tons, and they go more in-depth if you or your hairstylist can understand it).

I'm sure that you can eventually find something you can work out though, it just really depends if you like it enough to warrant what's needed for you to attain it. For what it's worth, I go to a very good Korean fob hairstylist (not multiple from the store or whatnot, only one because she has the most experience with what I want and how I want to look, imo forming a bond with your hair stylist is key because it usually creates better results, though I guess it varies from place to place) that cuts for relatively cheap: 20 dollars a cut, I tip 5, monthly. I guess it's a stretch for a lot of people, but I personally think she could charge more, and I like what I get, so I don't mind.
