Your excel document is such a better idea than me just saving the links for things I want aha. 30.5 waist but I don't really want denim atm, hence under the 3 (don't really need) category. I just have it there in case my indigo denim itch flares up again. Thanks for the heads up though!
However, I have an updated version of that spreadsheet where there's an entry for a pair of IE/PRPS noir I'd like to have in the very distant future.

acnes came in, strong sulfur smell and rise may be a bit high for me but the fabric is stretchy and comfortable and the fit is like how I imagined.

Yeah, no problem. I just posted to let you know in case you wanted since it was pretty cheap. I'm starting to set a priority on the items I bought and I really don't need/want anything badly enough to buy it right now.

How do you get rid of the sulfur smell on black denim without washing or drying them?
Starting to hate fits like these:

Is it me or is this interchangeable with any biker jacket or bomber, any white/grey/neutral colored tee, black pants, and cp/gats/guidi, as long as everything is slim, dark, and "minimal"? Like I get not all leather tops are the same but this seems impossible to fuck up and there are surely other ways to wear those pieces.
Also, is the black neckline weird on this? SNS

Finally realized EG jackets are cut wide at the hem cuz they want you to wear relaxed pants. Don't wanna do that and don't wanna wear EG like middle aged white men. Really wanted the batik baker but it looks hard to wear with anything non EG like.

i think thats the point though. it makes your wardrobe a lot easier to manage. you can always make it more/less interesting but at the same time, it makes it ez for when you dont want to pick what to wear out of your closet.
wear it out for a few days and see if it still persists.
i like that sns. feels balanced with the black top and bottom. feels like it'd need a darker bottom though.

But there has to be more reason than utility for both sf and sufu waywt threads to be filled with those fits. It almost seems like an internet uniform now. Like I have no opinion on the aesthetics of the fit except that nice leather tops or nice, obv, and the proportions are sleek or w/e when done right. But it just seems anyone can put that on and have it be "approved" by the internet when it really takes no effort or taste unless you dropped 2k on the wrong rick jacket or something.
also fml for already being half there with the white tee/acnes/white CPs.

^ seriously me too. and i have a uniqlo bomber that's pretty staple.
i see what you mean though. it's pretty cookie cutter but i guess it just looks nice and is easy to do. theres enough variation that even though it looks easy theres a lot of little things you can do, i guess? also some people dont have the body type.

Apparently this just opened: http://theidleman.com/ (at least according to FashionBeans)
Edit: Lol that was silly ;D

also fml for already being half there with the white tee/acnes/white CPs. people dress like that to take pics cause it takes no imagination and it's a safe style there's nothing wrong with it obviously, and because the different pieces are so widely accepted, it likely won't garner any negative criticism. you can't really say anything about it, bad or good. actually I guess for that photo you could say the tee feels out of place, a random plain tshirt doesn't fit his perfecto at all.
obviously he dresses better/cares more than the average person, and maybe that's all he's going for. but are you really going to criticize the guy for wearing a random perfecto and a pair of docs?

its ok guys i will come up with next level fits beyond normcore beyong goofninja beyond anything the internet has seen i will walk out on the street with nothing on

Wedding coming up for one of my college room mates. I'm not part of her wedding party. Black suit or grey suit?
|
id answer grey regardless because i think its a superior color for suits
but really it doesnt matter too much. just dont try to outshine the party/groom and you'll be fine.
|
or rather just outshine everybody and become the life of the party

not knocking the fit, just how often it comes up on forums as like the go-to standard of good streetwear. Not that I know any better, almost got a resale toj double rider a couple months ago. But it's probably like my CPs, I didn't want them cuz everyone has them, but really out of my campus of 20k+ students, I don't ever remember seeing a good leather jacket or CPs, some asian hypebeast stuff and thats it. I know I shouldn't dress for others, etc, and I try not to but really I just don't like leather jackets that much.

I know I shouldn't dress for others, etc, and I try not to but really I just don't like leather jackets that much. first off, unless you're in a large fashion-conscious city like NYC, you are likely never going to see two people wearing CPs (or whatever the new internet trend is) in the same day. So even though it seems like every kid and their cat has a pair of achilles on whichever forum you browse on the internet, remember that these users only constitute a niche modicum of the general population.
anyhow, my point earlier wasn't criticism for the guy's outfit, it was an attempt to explain the mentality behind wearing something 'conservative' like that and feeling that it's worthy to place on a forum for discussion, knowing full well there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I used conservative in quotes because the outfit is a popular, safe scheme within a certain circle, but obviously the average guy on the street would think it anything but conservative.
in other words, most people don't want to move against the flow and stick out from the crowd, but simultaneously feel the need to display their individuality with their 'I am still a unique snowflake' complex. and in an attempt to compromise the two conflicting ideas, people end up dressing this way.
even though I sound derisive of that thought process, I'm actually completely fine with it. fashion will never ever be mutually exclusive from trendhopping and dickriding, and that's just the inherent nature of clothing.

Yea I can see that, just don't like how waywt threads are spammed with it, but there is a good variety of other stuff. And it's probably not as easy to pull off despite seeming like it's impossible to fuck up.
I got a random schneider jacket from rakuten for the first time, the site's actually pretty easy to navigate and they have nice deals even with the shipping, a lot more listings than ebay but too bad most of the stuff is tiny. I've noticed a few brands, mostly Japanese that have fits where their biggest size is a medium in EU/NA sizes. Not really sure how that works especially when their items are sold overseas too. Also trying to cop some margaret howell knits/outerwear, her designs look nice.
