I personally think that mass posting is permissible as long as that person ensures an acceptably high standard in the quality of his/her/its posts.

Hopefully I live up to such standards with mine X__X
high post count does tend to be a breeding ground of shitty posting if not careful.

Quality > Quantity. It is the one thing I have always been picky about as a poster and as a moderator. To me a good thread initial post is worth over 10 good replies - which is why I guess I tend to reply less and post more. I also love people that thread save - i.e. post an awesome answer that saves a crappy thread. If there was a way to quantify those two parameters it would offset people that spam replies for count (and there is a ton of them).

There's a new guy named Jayme or something like that I think and he already has like 750 something posts when he joined in mid-late February. Last time I checked he had something like 51 posts per day... -_-;;
