From Barton Fink, a Coen brothers film from 1991. The scene speaks for itself I think. The exclamation "I'll show you the life of the mind!" comes from a quite pompous and self-important remark Barton makes to Charlie earlier, "I gotta tell you, the life of the mind... There's no roadmap for that territory... And exploring it can be painful." | ||

Maybe it was in there and I missed it. First thing that came to mind <_< More effective with about 3-5 more min of the beginning setting it up, but couldn't find a clip that included it. | ||

Also, in a similar vein, the dance scene from Little Miss Sunshine had me laughing so hard I was crying. But just a clip of that couldn't do it justice, it had to be built up through the entire movie. | ||
