From Barton Fink, a Coen brothers film from 1991. The scene speaks for itself I think. The exclamation "I'll show you the life of the mind!" comes from a quite pompous and self-important remark Barton makes to Charlie earlier, "I gotta tell you, the life of the mind... There's no roadmap for that territory... And exploring it can be painful."
Sorry about my first post being on something completely SC unrelated but I felt I had to contribute when I saw that there were actually some quality stuff posted here.
Can't possibly pick less than five, so here we go:
I couldn't find it on Youtube, but the opening scene of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was fantastic. Although a lot of scenes from that movie are great.
Also, in a similar vein, the dance scene from Little Miss Sunshine had me laughing so hard I was crying. But just a clip of that couldn't do it justice, it had to be built up through the entire movie.
