Nah they'll fail like they did for the last 100 years.

English first team is strong, though their subs are meh'ish ...

I know Spain's football history very well, so I do know what you're talking about (hypehypehypehypehypehype--->FAIL). However, this is the team that went all the way and won the Euro 2008. They're a bunch of winner. And I personally think that they have never had a team as strong as this one. Just look at their players; Casillas is one of the top 3 GK's in the world, Ramos, Puyol, and Pique are absolutely top notch, their midfield is by far the strongest of all the nations (Fabregas, Xavi, Iniesta, Senna, Xabi Alonso, etc), and up front they have fucking Villa and Torres. It's insane how powerful they are on paper, and for once they have been showing it on the pitch as well.
+ Show Spoiler +But ya, in the end Totti will make a comeback to Gli Azzurri and Italy will win the WC. Football bonjwa FTW!

Arsene Wenger should rage shits on the holland team for letting Persie get injured that bad. Fuck this is such bad luck.

Congrats to Kiwiland for making it to the WC ...

this spain team is like different man, they won the euro and got over this no-win barrier. sometimes it is all in the brain, but once they don't have this mental block about performing when it counts, spain is imo the favourite.
I can't believe france won, generally a shitty game, probably give up watching on wednesday night.

1 and a half month away from the reopening of the transfer market, moves are being made... Strong rumour saying that Robinho will move to Barcelona and Man. City is thinking on buying Di Maria from Benfica paying his Contractual fee (i don't know how you say it in english , The value that's on the contract that one must pay to break the contract and take the player) wich is 40M€. INSANE!

Man City is just a lamer version of Real Madrid. They can't get anywhere far with just money. When Roman bought Chelsea, the team started off playing like shit. Only when Mourinho arrived, they began to win titles and actually became a giant in European football. Man City needs another two or three years imo to reach there, provided they are moving on the right track.

I want to see the best player ever (Ronaldo) return to Europe. He's been kicking ass in Brazil.

i saw the spain vs argentina match, spain plays just ridicolously good, maybe even better than barcellona, their passing is amazing, it's like a net for the opponents, i love seeing 4 or 5 first hand passages straight and backheels, that's what football is about imho; passing and vision

I don't know about Casillas... Lately his play hasn't been as safe as it used to (both in Spain and Real Madrid) I think atm its Spain's weakest position (he still is better than 90% than most gks).

Sebastian Frey probably the most underrated keeper in the world imo.

don't follow much la liga, but isn't puyol in the "all-heart, but declining skill" period of his career (ala jamie carragher), while ramos plays like a wing player most of the time -_-?

na Puyol has always been consistent, to me his the same now as some years ago

German Rene Adler has been performing damn well lately. And I think Julio Cesar is even better than Buffon nowadays.
But yeah even an out of form Casillas is a top5 goal keeper lol.
