Lets just wait and see. I dont think this game will be a dissapointment
=) My prediction is that you, considering that you're a german, will be very disappointed afterwards. You're going dooooooooooooown! :D
I don't feel as hyped as I usually do for a CL final though, and I think that's because there's a WC coming up. The CL just seems so small and pathetic in comparison.

Actually quality-wise, Games in the UCL are superior to WC Games. That is why i will always love to watch UCL.
Many people who are saying that it is a boring final are just casual football fans and are not used to see a non english/spanish team in the final. Bayern and Inter are amongst the most successful clubs in the world and especially this season they both showed good performances. Therefore I can not agree how it is a boring final at all.
And to top all of this, the final also has some nice history (Teacher vs Apprentice, Robben/Sneijder back in Madrid etc.)

I'm very excited for this final! Inter has been playing great in the CL so far and Mourinho knows how to play these types of big games properly.
I just LOOVE that Robben or Sneijder are going back to the Bernabau to win the CL finals!!
So what do you guys think of the EPL losing a bit of its star power, depending on the transfer window this season. If they lose Fabregas and they got Chamakh and they make 2-3 signings and get a goal keeper they probably don't add much star power to the EPL.
Man U signed a Mexican striker I believe and Fergie said he only wants to sign one more player, which doesn't seem like much.
Chelsea might possibly get Aguero/Pato/Torres/Kaka depending on Ancelotti but Torres is already in the EPL.
Lpool are in a bit of financial trobule and don't know who they are linked to.
Man City might bring the most stars into the EPL if they splash the cash as expected.
Like the last season the EPL lost Ronaldo to La liga and Kaka went to la liga also snubbing the EPL.
|
Its all dependent on their success at international stage. If Arsenal wins the UCL with Chamakh as their leading scorer, he will become a star. If Barcelona and Madrid win their leagues but perform bad at international stage their stars will turn pale.

Anyone up for some Fantasy Football for the WC?!
http://worldfantasyfootball.skysports.com/
Free to sign up etc etc choose your 11 players from the qualified countries to make your XI. Only 2 players from one country are allowed.
I made a league for us to join if anyone wants to play! The league pin is 19733

How do you get points? I mean does the team actually have to be balanced or will I get more points if I just get 4 very offensive fullbacks, 3 goalscoring midfielders and 3 super forwards?

Incase you guys can't see the Key proprely in that img. You can't set the players positioning if anyone was wondering >.> but you can choose their formation ex. 4-4-2 , 4-3-3 etc.

Ok, I should be in. My team is Cry Havoc!
|
picking only two players from spain is so difficult lol. I am going with two Midfielders, which means no cassilas, no puyol, no torres and I still can't decide between Xavi/Iniesta/Fabregas
|
Isn't Fabregas a sub for Spain? And he's injured...
|
Torres is also carrying a bit of injury. I think Xabi has been in good form so he'd def get a starting spot. You guys can transfer players around during the WC also so don't worry.
I am GENUINELY surprised that you guys picked JT to be in your team! We've got 4 teams so far.

they might set a new record for worst goal differential next season

After winning the Treble with Inter it looks like Mourinho is going to leave Inter and look for a new challenge in RMadrid.
Mourinho is young for a manager that has won so many things so far and it is very possible for him to win the CL again with RMadrid and be a manager to win the CL with 3 different teams.
Has any other manager done this before?

He's also gonna win La Liga eventually...
|
And then take over Old Trafford for good

Mourinho certainly has the potential to become the greatest manager of all time. What a winner he is.
I wonder how they would accept him in Madrid though. Capello went there twice and won the league both times, and still he was fired because they didn't play football that was attractive enough.
