awesome to see england being awesome, and pretty fucking funny to see portugal most likely failing to qualify. there's always some deserving team (skill-wise) that fails to qualify, and it being portugal is just great because they have more cunts than any other team. actually I dunno about that anymore I guess maybe they've lost some of their worst divers but it's still great karma if they get knocked out pre-worldcup.

For awhile i don't feel connected to the Portuguese national team. And i think that Portugal non qualifying is well deserving. The manager (Carlos Queiroz) Created a team very Cristiano Ronaldo Dependent but very poorly made... For example, against denmark last weekend portugal played with no strikers and 6 midfield players being Cristiano Ronaldo and Simao on the front.

I still want Portugal to qualify cuz... well... it's my country, But they had it coming. And Cristiano Ronaldo is a F*kin Cunt... He dives all the time and doesn't deliver when necessary. .

I only care for Benfica nowadays really ! Pablo Aimar + Javier Saviola Fighting!

I think it´s still 50/50 between Sweden and Portugal to get the playoff round spot. Probably even less chance for us since we might need to beat Denmark on their field.

So far Capello has done an incredible job.
Finally Lampard and Gerrard look the real deal for England.

I just wish our media would shut the hell up and let him get on with the job. I'm fed up of the pathetic over hyping. The better England are the more terrifyingly awful the television coverage is. Last Euro champions was the most enjoyable to watch for a long time... because we weren't in it!

oh yea honestly portugal are kinda favourites ahead of sweden still

you prolly have to beat denmark because if there's a tie it'll probably come down to goal difference (assuming portugal beats hungary) and then sweden has 1 goal better than portugal at the moment, but sweden has to play denmark and albania whereas portugal faces hungary and malta

Pretty funny that powerhouse Argentina are currently 5th in standings in their group and are in severe danger or qualifying for WC 10. I think they are going to have to play a match vs the 3rd place in CONCACAF to decide whether or not they go.

well they're gonna beat whatever team that is, if honduras or costa rica knocks out argentina from qualifying for the world cup it would be an upset at the same level as greece winning EC

besides argentina has two easier matches left than equador (1 point ahead), I think they're gonna make it still ;p

argentina will beat peru
if uruguay beats ecuador on the same day, argentina could be in trouble

chile will probably have qualified by then and will play a b team versus ecuador on the last day, almost guaranteeing ecuador the 3 points

which puts argentina in the situation that if they lose to uruguay on the last day, they finish in 6th and won't even qualify for the north american play off

Rofl at Arsenal. Not that I hate Arsenal and I think they deserved better results, but City gave them a serious beating. Adebayor is definitely man of the match, and that run by Bellamy was pure ecstasy for any soccer fan. (unless you're a gunner's fan of course)
