Thanks, I'm trying it out at the moment and it actually seems pretty helpful for me. Makes it a lot easier to see how far I was off a note too without watching the replay as well.

Only change I did was lower the opacity of it a bit so it wasn't as distracting when it overlaps circles.

I found it extremely helpful for playing at 1920x1080, but since i'm using a window in screen (1280x800) now, not nearly as much. I was relying on peripheral vision and muscle memory a lot for jumps, and i don't have to with a more correct game window size vs my viewing distance

Despite being AR9, it seems like I didn,t have as much trouble with streams at the beginning and then things went down toward the end. Looks like the problem is streams with high BPM. Still a long way to go, but at least, I get it.

I had no idea that osu! did this to the spinner sound effect (it alters the speed without pitch correction depending on spinner completion(?)) until i threw this sound on, quite funny :D

Also that's a definite step up in spinner speed for me, not comfortable 400 yet but that's clearly >>350

also with stuttery 30fps video it hardly looks like spinning, almost like someone just put hand on mouse and had a seizure

I looped this for close to 2 hours to get from 75% accuracy to comfortably FC-ing and being able to SS

can work in getting finger alternating much closer to 50/50, but there is some there at awkward places. 2 and 4-long hitcircle patterns especially mixed in with odd numbered amounts was something that i just couldn't deal with at all, but i can now and will probably be way better at tommorow

ALSO THE AIM, that map is one of many that varies the spacing between circles in a stream and expects you to hold a tempo and keep your aim+keyboard in sync

^mad respect to anyone who can do that at 200bpm, i had to play @150 and will have to do so until i'm much better at switching fingers automatically and being able to start various patterns on either finger

I got this, too.

212 streams, a LOT of work to be able to keep up with those

I'm like 7.1k now, but i have three weeks of solid practice and a ton of improvement from when i was 6.8k. Ranking only reflects skill more than loosely if you are frequently FC-ing maps near the edge of your skill level

What is it? And it's probably not low, just a few (relatively) high ranked players in here. Most osu players are not close to this level

I just played almost every day (with no serious breaks, i cant even really remember a week without playing in that entire time) for like 15 months. I focused on mouse/aim early and am still developing from there as a kind of hobby, i can't really play for hours on end.. unless there's that one fucking map that needs to be fc'd/ss'd

I don't find it so amusing with people more often than not claiming to be terrible when in the top fraction of a percent of rankings

actually i dont know anyone between rank 3k and rank 200 that doesn't claim to be terrible a little too frequently

Heh, I've hovered at 35-40k for like almost 2 months now! Get on my level pls.
But ye, the underplay here is super strong. I have to agree.

Past this little stuff though, I'm still trying to improve. I think a major lack of time is contributing a ton to my stagnating position.
For example, when I had time to blow throw 3k+ songs a month, I saw huge leaps in improvement. I was just getting better in every aspect, just from playing a bunch. Now (as was expected from the start) I have a much more limited time frame. I struggle to push an hour of good play into a day. And usually half of that, when I first get home from work, I'm super tired, thus play is sup-bar at best.
