X+Y for the fast stuff, X only for everything else. Using mouse buttons makes me lose accuracy.
I'm still in the process of getting used to stuff like a few fast notes and a few normal notes in alternating patterns. Mix in a few short sliders to throw me off completely.

People have made plenty of non-anime beatmaps and themes for osu. Just because the majority of maps are anime related doesn't mean all of them are.

Or just grow thicker skin.

Nice lol. Just keep at it, and try to work on some harder songs too. One thing I liked about this game is how I could notice how drastically I improved over time.
