I can only recommend to play this game for yourself and then you'll see that every player in the tournament is top notch. They might make some mistakes but look at the execution and the mind games and you will see that they pull off a lot of difficult combos. | ||

I'd like to get a bit deeper into Groove on Fight but I guess I won't be able to find somebody that is interested to play the game in Germany. T_T But it's definately one of the better Fighting Games and packed with features. Parry, Dashs, Shadow Moves etc. I created a thread on SRK Forums by the way. GGPO licensed by Capcom in multi-year, multi-game deal! And although Backbone isn't using it for SFHD, they got a full consultation with Ponder. Anyhow according to some tests they ran, the current network code isn't very far behind GGPO in several performance metrics. | ||

You know, the most amazing thing about this is that GGPO was allowing people to play Capcom's arcade games for free. Now most companies would go "OMFG PIRACY" and try to kill the site, but instead Capcom embraced it. I'm really glad to see them take this approach instead.  Edit: by the way, this is how STHD's network play used to look a few months ago, compared to GGPO: It's interesting how Tony was able to do a massively better job in his free time than the professionals at Backbone who were getting paid thousands to do this. | ||
