I'm gonna take back what I wrote about Daigo. It's not fair to make excuses for anyone's performance, for various reasons. Besides, it's much more likely that players in North America are playing a lot better than before, rather than Daigo and Momochi playing worse.

I don't know... I really got the feeling Daigo was off his usual best when I was watching those games (I only watched the 5v5) and I distinctly remember the commentators mentioning that he hadnt even been watching the matches and instead was asleep on a chair somewhere before he played his sets. Momochi beasted in that 5v5

why would Daigo need to play his best when anytime he loses there are a billion excuses, sickest life

I think Daigo can give a fuck about losing so early, as long as he wins this $1000 money match right here

MBAACC was very nice to hKohaku (she's basically the same as console), FKohaku had a few nerfs and CKohaku had significant nerfs (which didn't stop her from winning SBO 2010).

Regarding how hard hKohaku is to use, she has some very damaging very hard combos but once you get her execution down the zoning/ neutral game is fairly simple matter of zoning your opponent with long reaching air normals and hit confirming off of them into a command throw setup that goes into another command throw setup. Again, her execution is very hard and you really need it to do the big damage you need at higher levels of play.

I don't know how many people play 3s anymore but this was an AMAZING parry even better than Daigo vs Wong.

h hohaku had about as many nerfs as fkohaku most significantly a jC damage nerf = less big fat damage. granted i havent been played mbaacc or even been playing mbaa but the payoffs of hitting combos on h kohakus is less now.

1:58 counter jC hit if that happened in MBAA that wouldve broken 5k ez instead its just 4.6k

SBO 2010, :/ ieda on C kohaku is still beast, not to mention paired with GO1 F akiha

Kurahashi wins 16 straight against high-level competition? ST is pretty random yo, so win streaks are usually low.

Thanks for the Daigo vs Arturo money match link. Anyone know how much money they exchanged between them so far?

I think Arturo lost $500 to Daigo after Evo this year.

Does anyone know a youtube channel with good high level BB:CS videos? There's a tournament this weekend and I want to enter. Not sure about SSF4 though haven't been having a lot of fun playing lately :/

Youtube channels?
GAMEacho - posts a lot of the casual sets from days when they have tournaments (the tournament vids are usually up on a-cho's main site). Lots of other games get vids uploaded but BBCS vids are common.

Kouhatsu - another arcade with a generally good set of players, tends to upload a lot of random games but BBCS comes up often.
